Where is the moment we need the most? You kick up the leaves, and the magic is lost They tell me your blue sky's faded to grey They tell me your passion's gone away And I don't need no carrying on.You stand in the line just to hit a new low You're faking a smile with the coffee to go You tell me your life's been way off line You're falling to pieces every time And I don't need no carrying on.
"Lucifer what are you doing here?" You ask the handsome devil. You had no plans with him today but he does enjoy showing up places.
"Because you had a bad day love" he shows you what he has hidden behind he back. Comfort food and wine.
"You really didn't have to do this" you try giving him a smile yet it still comes off saddened.
"You're taking one down, I heard You singing a sad song just to turn it around dear" He gives you a warm smile entering you're home. "why so down y/n?" he asks as he sets the items he brought for you on a table. You say you don't know
"don't lie" He insists. You sigh and take a seat on you're couch.
"You work at a smile, You had a bad day, The look on you're face don't lie, You're coming back down, and you really don't mind, Well you need a blue sky holiday love and I'm here to help with that" he smiles at you and sits beside you.
"Okay so I had a bad day. I'm taking one down, singing a sad song just to turn it around. I said I don't know and You told me not to lie. So I worked at a smile, and I went for a ride. I had a bad day. My face don't lie. I'm coming back down and I'm glad you really don't mind" you confess the truth he wanted to hear.
"Well that is why i am here love who better to cheer you up then the devil him self to bring you what you desire"
"Sometimes the system goes on the blink And the whole thing, it turns out wrong. I might not make it back but you know that I can be strong" you tell him leaning back to get comfortable.
"And I'm not wrong, you are one of the strongest women i have had the pleasure to know"He gives you found smile. making you're self smile back and this time it wasn't so forced or fake.
"So where is the passion when you need it the most? Oh, you and I love we are that passion, we can bring back that magic lost. You had a bad day, you took one down, lets sing happy songs to turn it around. You don't have to work at a smile with me. We can go for a ride and see what you like. Now how does that feel?" Lucifer asks hoping to anything he can do will help you.
"Feels like this bad day is turning around, thanks to you" the first real happy smile today on you're face.
