"What did you do?" Dan asks you're daughter as she is sat at the dinning table. You are sitting next to her. She stays silent.
You had got a call from her school today about her being in a fight with another student.
"Monkey we would like to hear you're side of the story, please explain to mommy and daddy why you were in a fight today" you place a hand on hers. Dan is trying to play bad cop it seems as he is huffing and puffing pacing around. She still stays silent for a moment until Dan speaks up again.
"Alright young lady if you don't start talking there will be no chocolate cake for a week" he tells her. Instantly she has a worried yet shocked face.
"Okay okay I'll talk daddy! Just don't take away the cake!" She exclaims
"Start talking monkey" you say.
"Well this girl at school was making fun of me and so I told her to stop and she didn't listen so I punched her in her no no box"
"We don't hit people" Dan says sternly and sighs.
"Yes daddy is right you don't hit people, but I am proud of you for sticking up to the bully" you give her a small smile.
