Manik woke up the next morning to the soundtrack of Train wreck by James Arthur. He realized that he hadn't moved one bit from his position that he took before falling asleep. He sat up straight and moved his neck in all possible directions to get rid of the pain he was feeling because he hadn't lied down completely, the whole night.

A moment later, he registered the lyrics and it reminded him of the painful night. This morning was not any better either as it pained him just as much even now. His battery was about to die given how long it had been playing songs through the night. He paused the song before unplugging the earphones after which he put his phone down on the bedside table for charging.

He got up to stand on his feet and stretched his muscles before grabbing his clothes to get showered. Nandini could give up on him all she wants but he wasn't going to do that. He was going to get ready and go to Abhimanyu's place in order to get his wife back, where she belongs, in their house and with him. They can work on all their issues together and decide together if they wanted things to end, after all.
