Loud music burst through the huge speakers by the poolside in a resort located in the exteriors of the rushed city, Mumbai. It was almost 9 in the night and the guests of the pool party, dressed for the same, awaited the couple of the night with anticipation. The awaiting did not certainly mean not enjoying because a bunch engaged themselves dancing on on the dance floor, some drinking their guts out while some of them stood in groups talking about everything they couldn't amidst their busy schedules back in the city. Maybe, a wedding was all that they needed to take a detour from their usual pathways.

Manik and Nandini had a precise budget and thus they did not make the usual rituals like mehendi, haldi and sangeet, a part of their wedding festivities on a grand level. Those rituals were going to be done in a private space with just family the next day. The grand parcel of the wedding remained this cocktail party for both of their colleagues and friends, and then obviously their actual wedding ceremony on the day after tomorrow.
