"What is this?" Nandini asked Manik as she reached the balcony after doing the dishes. She hadn't heard from Manik in the last 30 minutes ever since she walked into the kitchen after they bid their friends 'goodbye'. She figured he might have slept but she was proven wrong when she went up to the balcony to only get pleasantly surprised at the beguiling sight.
Manik had set-up the balcony into a cosy setting, which was very romantic for any couple. He laid out a soft mattress in the compact space yet big enough for the two of them to fit in. Duvet and pillows were very obvious but the source of light remained a bunch of dimly lit fairy lights, just the ones she loved very much.
