Audrey:

Luke was silent recently. He was always silent but when he usually is, it's because he isn't thinking about anything. Now he's silent but it's obvious he's thinking of something.

"Luke..." i mumble

He turns around and looks at me for a second then turns away, "What?" he says flatly.

"What are you thinking of?" i ask.

"Alot." he says flatly again.

"Why don't you wanna tell me?" i follow him walking around the hallways.

He stops and sits at the corner, making me follow him. "Audrey," he starts off.

"Luke,"

"These past months they were trying to build this hotel and we didn't do anything about it. We could've done something. Now, we're spending our time scaring people off this hotel like we always do. I admit it is fun and great but I miss my home y'know. I also miss going out. I miss the village and I miss the outdoors. I always roamed around the streets, remember? I miss being alive." he squints his eyes.

"Luke, It's been years since you died and since I died. I miss that too but Luke, we can't do anything."

"And I miss you.." he adds, still squinting his eyes.

I paused for a moment, "Luke, I've always been here."

"It's just not like before." he opens his eyes, "I just really miss it when we were alive. We could've explored stuff. Now we're trapped in this hotel and it's not even our home anymore. My ancestors are even roaming around here aswell, it's disgusting."

"Luke, as much as I agree, we can't do anything."

"Nothing's impossible." he gets up and starts walking again.

"Let's just.. stay outside. No one will know we're spirits" i shrug

He shakes his head, "No. I might envy whatever is outside." he goes downstairs and I follow. We were at the lobby. There were few people, the staff and the owner.

Luke brings me at the back of some counter and plants and I'm surprised no one saw us. Luke was staring at the girl behind the counter. She looked nice.. pretty.. I'm actually insecure of her. I look at the way Luke looks at her and it did make feel a but down. I wonder what's Luke thinking of. I probably talked too much so I can't ask him.

"She's pretty.." i mumble

Luke looks to me then back at her, doing it repeatedly.

"Well don't compare me."

He laughs, "She's got a boyfriend. I'm also a ghost so there's no way I'm going to her."

"So if she was single and you weren't a ghost you'd totally go to her?"i scoff and he just laughs.

"C'mon let's go.." he drags me up but I notice someone by the door.

"Wait!" i stop him "It's Eric!"

"Audrey, C'mon. That's not going to make me jealous."

"Luke! It's Eric!" i try to get attention.

"Audrey, I'm not going to play this jealousy wars game." he rolls his eyes. I let go off his hamds amd ran to Eric, giving him a hug. "Audrey, What the fuck!!"

"Audrey?!" Eric looks at me, hugging me back "I thought you were dead..."

I let go and smiled at him, "Shhh." i whisper

He mouths "wait" and goes to the receptionist. I turned around and found Luke, staring blankly at me.

"No one here knows we're ghosts." i explain

He remained silent, still ignoring me.

"Eric!" the owner's boyfriend grins. They know each other?

"Michael! I missed you so much!" Eric smiles and looks at the owner "You too Jacquline."

"Are you checking in?" Jacquline smiles

"Sadly, No. I need to tell you... warn you. You have to stop this hotel. This used to be a murder house." he says seriously.

"Eric, there's no spirits here." Michael laughs slightly and I scoff quietly.

"This was where my village was. Michael, this place is dangerous. I'm doing this for your own good, Jacqui."

"Everything's going fine, Eric. I appreciate your concern." she nods

"You don't understand. I'm serious! I've seen everything."

"I guess I'll do something about it." Jacquline laughs "How's your operation on your knee?"

"I canceled it."

"Aw, Why?"she pouts. What a slut.

"I didn't want to." he shrugs "I guess I'll just see you guys soon. Please take my request." he smiles shortly and heads to me, bringing me to the couch. Luke sat next to me, still ignoring me.

"Eric, I missed you so nuch."

"I miss you too Audrey.." he looks at Luke and felt uncomfortable. "I thought you were dead?"

"We are. Even that old guy at the corner, Mr. Robert."

"Would you want to go out for some coffee? To talk about this."

"Spirits can't leave ther home." i sigh

"But this was the murder house."

"Long story."

"Well, maybe you can do me a favor and make sure the other spirits here won't do any harm?" he pleas

Luke scoffs, rolling his eyes.

"Why?"

"Jacqui and Michael are my friends. After I left the village, I went to the freak show. Candice took me. It was fucking hell. But Michael's friend, Sierra brought the freak show down. As soon as I heard about what happened to the murder house, I had to do something."

"Well Eric, we miss our home too and they turned this place to a hotel!"

"I'm sorry Audrey but please do something." he sighs "I'll have to go now. I'll see you soon."

I nod and looked at Luke who was so irritated.

We headed upstairs and he still didn't say a word. I am worried. I didn't do anything wrong, did I?

"Luke, do you want some juice?" we stayed at some vacant room.

He shakes his head.

"Luke, what's wrong? I just talked to Eric?"

"It's not just that, Audrey." he mutters

"What is it?"

"You told him about the spirits ! You agreed about helping this hotel?!"

"I-I didn't mean to. I didn't agree. I just said that so he'd go."

"Go away, Audrey."

"You don't mean that , Luke." i shake my head

"Go away Audrey!" he raises his voice a little bit and I did leave.
