chapter seven

Nadine:

My life is great. I finally lived normal and free. I got news that Thalia did die so I was guessing I was the only one left. I decided to visit the coven for the first time ever after everything that has happened. But I wasn't alone.

"What the fuck!?" i curse

"Nadine?" Calum appears and comes for a hug but I push him away "You're alive!!"

"What are you doing here?" i scoff

"I-It's a long story. I 'll tell you everything!! Would you listen?"

"Of course not." I push him away again "Get out of here. It's off limits."

"Why are you so harsh to me? You were the one who was so nice to me before."

"Before." i point out "You can't be here. Go away." I shake my head. I am glad I found Calum. I miss him actually but why is he at the coven? He was the one who was so harsh to me.

"I visited this coven long ago. I-I met Thalia... as a spirit though. Here.. here's my voodoo doll, I found it." he shows me the voodoo doll "I met Klair next and I setted her free and she-"

"You what?!!"

"She asked me for what reward should she g-give me so I just randomly picked a book which was actually the book of spells. I learned them... I can do things now."

"What the fuck..." i say under my breath. The coven did look different...better actually. I suppose Calum did a makeover and renovated this place.

"Nadine, I was abl-"

"Klair's alive?" i ask him.

"W-Why?"

"I thought she was dead! Why did you touch the book! Why did you..." i run my fingers through my hair "You're a witch now?"

"I suppose so..." he mumbles

"And you called me crazy!!"

"It was hard to believe. How should I know these things were real." he explains

"Where's Klair?"

"That's what I don't know. I-I'm trying to find her aswell." he tells me "Listen Nadine, please forgive me for what and how I treated you. I didn't know, really. We're the only two witches left so we might aswell be friends... please?"

I think about it for a second. Maybe it wouldn't be bad?

"Fine." i answer and he grins

"Finally!! Someone like me." he beams

I blush a bit, "So..what's going on?"

"Fuck" he curses "There's something wrong, Nadine. I don't wanna bring this up right away when we just became friends but I was able to bring back the dead..."

"Woah?! Really? Cool." i clap a bit

"No not cool." he shakes his head "I wasn't supposed to disturb the dead. Thalia told me. If I don't do anything... something bad would happen. I don't know what!"

"Well, who did you bring back to the dead?"

"I dunno. Some stranger. I met a girl crying by the old asylum and I thought I wanted to help. I brought her boyfriend back."

"You what?!"

"What? You didn't freak out when I said I brought someone back from the dead."

"No! You brought a stranger back from the dead! You don't even know him? Wow you're stupid." i scoff

He looks at his feet, looking guilty "I-I'm sorry."

Wow I hate seeing him like this.

"Ugh." i groan "Don't be. We'll find a way. Do you have any connections or something?"

"Nope." he sighs

"Oh great." i groan again

I slept over at the coven with Calum. Nothing happened, we just talked and looked over through the things around here. I can't believe Klair's still alive. She's a nightmare.

"Ashton..." I hear Calum say by the door. A guy stepped in and he looks like around the age of 20s. So this must be Ashton?

"Nadine, this is Ashton.." he smiles shortly "Ashton, what are you doing here? Where's Sierra?"

I didn't bother to greet Ashton or talk to him. I just watched both of them talk.

"Erm... She's at the hotel. I'm asking you for a favor for you two to go to this hotel. I wish you would come. I really need help with something."

"What is it?"

"You see theres these spirits... just a pair.. who found out and they were asking me to find you and make you do it. Just two spirits..." he stutters and my eyes widen.

"Can I talk to Calum?" i say and he nods

"Nadine.... I-I don't know what to do."

"Alright listen, there's this spell to bring back to the way it was. To vanish the spirits and they wouldn't step a foot on this planet ever again. Use that spell instead. Just act like you agree."

"Alright alright.." he nods quickly and agrees to Ashton.

"We'll go.." i tell him

"Great! Just please don't Sierra about this."

"Will do." Calum says.
