chapter six

Sierra:

"I feel a bit weird.." Ashton tells me "...but great! Just.. a bit weird..."

"Like how?" i ask. We were at a hill, having a picnic. I thought it would be good to stay here with him just to relax after what has happened. It's been days and he is adjusting. But I can't seem to find that Calum guy... I should thank him loads. He was like magic.

"That kind of weird."

"What?"

"You weren't listening...?" Ashton says slowly.

"Sorry, Ashton. I was just thinking about everything. About Calum y'know. I feel so blessed that I met him."

"Hmmm you like him?" he looks up at the trees, avoiding eye contact.

"Of course not. I love you not him." I try to make him look at me but he doesn't.

"Hmmm..."

"I just wanna thank him." i lay at my back. "He seems like a lonely guy. I think he's all alone."

"Seriously?" he looks at me, scoffing.

"I was just trying to make you look at me." i laugh a bit.

"Why?"

"Because I miss seeing your eyes, the way you look at me. I miss everything, actually." i stare at the clouds.

"You have no idea how I feel since you weren't listening." he scoffs again.

"Aw c'mon Ashton." i roll closer to him, "What do you feel?"

"Physically, bad. Spiritually, bad. Mentally, bad-ever since. Emotionally, great actually."

"Probably the effects.."

"Y'know about Mikey.." he changes the topic. "How is he?"

"I told you he's okay. He has a girlfriend named Jacquline. He calls her Jacquline lantern hahaha.. it's funny. She owns a hotel and I think Michael stays there aswell most of the time."

"I can't thank you enough. You actually brought the freak show down."

"Promises are promises right?" i smile

"Yeah." he smiles aswell

"Promise me something.."

He frowns, "What is it?"

"Don't leave me." i beg

"I won't" he grins and it makes me feel much better.

"Good."

We stayed silent after awhile. We were both looking at the clouds, not speaking at all. I knew he was thinking of something and I was too. I was thinking how everything of this was possible. Or is it just in my head? Am I insane? Is Ashton really real?

"Sierra,"

"Yeah?"

"Can we go to Michael? That hotel thingy. Maybe we could have a vacation there and clear our minds off."

"Sure."

We entered the hotel and of course, Ashton was so lost. He looks so amazed yet also lost. Michael wasn't around yet but Jacqui was. I am really proud of Michael and Jacqui. They seem so happy. I was glad to help Michael. Imagine if I haven't done that at all.

"Sierra!" she smiles at me as soon as she spots me and Ashton.

"Jacqui!" i smile back "This is Ashton. Ashton, this is Jacqui, Michael's girlfriend."
