Oh how the time flew by! It's already been a week since you found Tommy, he was doing better, and now he helped you around the house and on the farm. He wasn't the best at first, but you taught him how to water the crops, feed the livestock, pick out the ripe apples, and even how to make jams! Tommy found you to be a kind and caring soul, something he hadn't seen in a long time, he even thought of you as his mother sometimes, but that was ridiculous! How could he see someone he met just a week ago to be his mom? You on the other hand did see him to be a bit like a son, you were patient with him, and didn't press him to tell you anything he didn't want to. You had made a batch of jam in the morning to make sure it would be ready to be jarred by the end of the day, you two had made strawberry and sweet berry jam.

"(Y/N)?" The two of you were sitting in the living room, you were knitting the turtleneck, you were almost done with it, while the boy played with Elizabeth's paws, the cat was laid on his chest.
"Yes Tommy?" You asked as you continued your work on the sweater,

"Do you have a nickname?" He turned to look at you, his time on the farm taught him to relax, and his personality became a bit mellow,

"Hm... I don't think so, other than when my mom called me jelly bean, I don't have one."

"What about (N/n)?" You thought for a bit, (N/n) was nice,

"I like that, but what about mom?" You joked, you giggled at the end of your statement as to signify that it was indeed a joke, "I'm just kidding, but I wouldn't mind haha." You finished up the sweater as you carefully sewed a little tag in the inside of the neck, it wrote, 'If lost, return to Tommy.'

"M-Mom?" Tommy seemed flustered at the idea, but he didn't seem to mind either, "Fine.. If that's what you want mom." He looked away as he spoke, he seemed to not mind at all calling you mom. You chuckled slightly, he was so sweet! Elizabeth had gotten up from Tommy's chest and walked over to her cat bed and took a nap. You stood up and gave Tommy the sweater,

"Here Tommy, it gets cold during the night." Tommy looked at it with awe, and happiness as he ran his hand along the wool sweater, it was soft to the touch. He looked at the tag you had sewed in, he teared up in joy.

"Thank you Mom.." He really looked like he was going to cry, so you sat down next to him as you rubbed his back again,

"There's no need to cry dear, it's a gift from me to you." You were hoping he wasn't crying because he was sad. Tommy calmed down after a while and you tried on the sweater, it fit perfectly! Well, besides the arms, they were a bit large.

"Does it fit well Tommy?" You asked as you saw him turn around in the sweater,

"It fits great mom!" He seemed so happy! You couldn't help but smile as the two of you chatted a bit more. He talked a bit about the man named Wilbur, and how the two of them founded L'Manburg after participating in a war for independence, and about a man named Jshlatt as well and the two people who worked for him, Quackity, and Fundy. You learned that Fundy and Wilbur were father and son, and how Tubbo and Jshlatt were siblings, Jshlatt being almost a decade older than Tubbo (This is a HC of mine, this is not in the actual lore!). You were invested in the story so you two talked about it over dinner. Tommy told you how Wilbur's and Jshlatt's ghosts roamed around the areas where L'Manburg was, sometimes appearing in other places. You were told about how they died, you felt bad for the both of them, one from their own father and how he begged to be killed by him, and one from alcoholism.

You and Tommy washed the dishes as he continued to tell you about his life. As soon as the two of you finished, you started to jar the jams you made earlier that day after making them sit to cool down. Tommy watched as he took mental notes about how to do it, and you showed him how to make it as well! You two jarred them and placed them in your basement, it was cold in there and it served as a fridge to store perishable foods. You left out a few jars since you used them often and traded them with a wander that came by a lot, if you recall correctly his name was Sam, and he had cyan hair and a mask with a creeper sort of pattern. His next visit was due in a few days so you wanted to make sure you had a few jars ready for him. You send Tommy off to bed as you clean up a few stray things before tucking yourself into bed. Elizabeth had gone to sleep in Tommy's room, it seemed like she took a liking to the boy, you were happy that Elizabeth had opened up to a person, even if it wasn't you. The sound of the wind rusting the trees was enough to get you to go to bed. There was a big thunderstorm during the night and it continued to rain heavily throughout the week, so for the next week you two had to stay indoors and only go out to feed the livestock.
