Chapter Five

Rossalina's POV

I got into my car and drove to the hospital. My phone started ringing and it was a call from my dad. I pulled over so I could take the call. I was not ecpecting what he was about to say.

"Hi dad" I said in a worried voice

"I'm on my way to the hospital right now. Whats going on?"

"Wait what?"

"Are you being serious?"

"Ok well I'm on my way I'll be there in about ten minutes."

"Ok bye."

My eyes started watering and I sped ten miles over the speed limit. I got there in about eight minutes and I had some guy park my car. Then I rushed into the hospital and ran into my sister's room. What I saw shocked me.

I saw my dad holding my mother and soothing her while they both were crying then I looked over at my sister and she was laying in the hospital bed looking lifeless. She had all these fluids and tubes in her and it was kind of scary. The doctor came in and said.

"I don't know when Alyssa is going to wake up from her coma it could be days, weeks, months, or even years. If it takes her more than two months there is no telling how she will be she may have to go through some therapies to help her walk and talk again."

"Could she wake up in a week and be completely normal?" I asked

"Yes she could but it isn't likely she might need some help"

"What is causing all of these symtoms and the coma?" I asked curiously

"We don't know but if and when she wakes up we will do an MRI and a catscan to see if there is anything wrong with her that might be causing the coma and the fainting"

The doctor walked out of the hospital room after he checked Alyssa's vitals. My mom was still crying but less and I went over to sit on Alyssa's bed. I sat down and starting rubbing her hair. I kissed her forehead and whispered:

"Alyssa if you can hear me then it will be alright. The doctors are doing everything that they can to help you. We all pray that you will wake up and I love you Alyssa."

With that I got up and left because I couldn't bare looking at her. She looked almost dead and I was so worried about her. I got the one guy that parked my car get my car. I got in the car and drove back to my castle.I was speeding home because I knew Iwouldn't be able to hold my tears in anymore and it would be dangerous if I drove and cried àt the same time.

I got home and parked in the front of the castle and ran into my room and burst out into tears I was so worried about Alyssa. I didn't know what to do anymore so i just decided to call Alex. I dialed his number and waited until he answered

"Hey Alex."

"Ya can you talk?"

"I'm really upset can we meet up somewhere?"

"OK I'll be there in twenty minutes"

"Ok bye"

We decided to meet up at a park by my house I used to go to. I took off all my makeup and jumped in the shower. I got dressed in some dark blue jeans and a tank top. I put on some make upi grabbed my keys and my phone and got into my caar. I drove off to the park. I got there and saw Alex sitting on a bench. I got out of the car and sat next to him.

"Hey Rose" he said as he looked over at me.

"Hi Alex."

"So what's going on? Is everything ok?"

"Not really my sister is in thhe hospital and she is in a coma"

"Oh thats not good. Is she going to be ok?"

"I don't know. The doctor doesn't even know. I am worried Alex."

"Well if you need to talk about it then let me know ok?"

"Ok Alex. Thanks" I smiled at him" You are seriously the best boyfriend ever"

"Thanks and your the best girlfriend ever"

"Thanks"

"Hey Rose, it's getting late and I have to get going. My dogs need to be walked and I have to feed them"

"Ok well just text me when you get home I think i'm going to stop by the hospital so I can see Alyssa."

"Ok well drive safetly"

We both got up we hugged and then he kissed me on the forehead. We both walked to our cars and said our goodbyes and left.
