Chapter 2 (The Ball)

Chapter 2

Rossalina's POV

I ran down to the ball room and and finished my piece of bread quickly. I put my hand on the door so that I could enter the the ball room as I put my hand on the door I felt a hand on mine, I spun around and there he was. His blue orbs gazing into my eyes. He cleaned up very sexy! Holy crap!

"Hey Rose" He said seductively

He was already sexy enough but his sexy seductive voice made him even sexier! I just wanted to kiss him but then again I barly even knew him and that would be kind of weird.

"Hey Alex!" I said cheerfully

"You look really hot" He said winking at me

"Thanks. You don't look so bad your self" I said winking back at him

" I know I'm pretty sexy arn't I?" He said seductivly and started laughing

I started laughing too. We were silent for a few seconds and I broke the silence.

"Thanks for coming Alex"

"Your welcome Rose. Anyways do you want to walk in together?" He asked

I squeeled in excitement

"Yes I do!!"

"Overly excited much?" He said smirking.

"Sorry" I said laughing. What was I thinking?!?! Its like I'm crazy around Alex. I can't control myself. He's diffferent and I like it.

I walked in with Alex and the guy (Maurice) Announced me and then Alex. We got down the stairs and my favorite song was playing.

"I LOVE THIS SONG!!!" I said

"Wanna dance?" Alex asked

"Yes"

"Sweet." He bowed and I giggled and blushed.

I took his hand and my heart skipped a beat. We danced through three songs and then my parents got everyone's attention. Whatever they were going to announce was going to be important.

" Can I please have your attention?" My mom said.

Everyone quited down and was looking at her. I was sort of shacking because I was nervous to what my parents were going to say.

"As we all know today is Rossalina's 18th birthday"

Everyone started clapping. I didn't realize it but Alex reached over to hold my hand and he was holding it firmly. For some reason there was a small spark when I saw that he was holding my hand.

" So now that Rossalina is 18 Louis and I have decided to let our daughter marry. In two weeks we will be holding a party to find the right man for Rossalina"

"WHAT!!!" I screamed.

I had no choice but to get married at 18 are you kidding me I mean come on! And my parents were going to pick the guy that I have to marry. That's just not

cool. I probably won't even love the guy.

"Rossalina, don't yell in a ball room and second your father and I think that it would be good for you, and once you get married then you can take power to the thrown" My mother said

" But mom I don't want to get married this early. I'm way too young!"

"You are of age and once we find the right guy for you we will wait until you are done with high school before you get married"

"Let's talk about this later mother. I want to enjoy the rest of my birthday"

"Ok honey meet me up in your room after the ball ok?"

"Fine"

That was a shock I can't believe that my parents wouldn't have atleast given me some clues. A slow song came on and Alex asked if I wanted to dance. He held me close and I inhaled his scent he smelled so good. We danced for a while and I broke the silence I couldn't stand not hearing his sexy voice.

"That was a shock don't you think Alex"

"Yes that was a huge shock"

I heard some hurt in his voice probably because he wouldn't be able to atleast date me. I felt so bad because my parents were probably going to make me marry some rich guy or a prince that I didn't even love.

"I'm sorry Alex"

"Why are you sorry?"

"Because of my parents."

"Oh. That's ok I guess"

"No it's not I feel really bad about it."

"Don't it's ok really it is"

"Ok if you say so"

Alex and I spent the rest of the night talking laughing and dancing. Sadly the night came to an end and it was time to say our goodbyes.

"Hey Rose?"

"Ya?"

"I just met you and this is crazy but heres my number so call me maybe?"

"That's so cheezy but cute!" I said

"So does that mean youll call me?"

"Yup" I started to giggle and blush

"Well I have to get home. I'll talk to you later ok? Oh and by the way you are so cute when you blush" and with that he winked at me, kissed me on the top of my head and left.

What the hell just happened?
