The Perfect Summer Can't Last Forever

Chapter 3

Here is the third chapter guys! I hope you like it!

Rossalina's POV

I entered Alex's number into my phone and texted him. I was walking up the stairs slowly because I really didn't want to talk to my mom about gettng married. By the way I didn't want to take the elevator because that would only take a few seconds to get to my bedroom which was on the sixth floor so instead I took a long spiraly stair case up to my room.

I was hallf way up the stairs when I got a text from Alex. He texted me " Hey Rose sorry I had to leave so quickly I had to get home before 10:30 because I had to uh walk my dogs. Anyways I had fun and I really like you :-)"

I'm not entirely sure of what to make of that text but it's sweet. I finally got up to my room and my mom was already sitting on my bed. This can't be good.

"Hi honey. Come in and sit down."

" Hi mom, what's up?"

"We need to talk about the whole marriage thing

"Why are you going to make me get married? "

"Your father and I think that it will be good for you and then you can take the throne"

"But mom, I'm not ready to get married yet" I protested.

"Honey, there comes a time in your life where you have to do something that you don't want to"

"I know mom but im not ready to get married and I don't want to until I'm older."

"Honey please"

"Mom it's not fair your not going to make Alyssa and Louis get married"

"Your sister is only 10 and your brother well he's another story"

"Mom" I whined

"Honey when your sister turns 18 we will give her a ball and we will tell her that she has to marry. But now your 18 and you are going to have to get married"

"Fine I'll get married I guess, but can you atleast put the party off until I finish school?"

"Let me talk to your father about that. Ok?"

"Fine"

That was an interesting conversation. I went ahead and texted Alex back and this is what I said "Hey Alex sorry I didn't answer right away. My mom was talking to me. Anyways I had fun tonight :-) and I really like you too :-)"

The response I got shocked me. He said "I'm so glad you like me too! Will you go out with me?" I answered him back within seconds saying "Of course I will!!"

Oh my gosh was that a dream or was that real. The hottest guy I've ever met just asked me out! That's crazy. I just put my phone in my pocket and ran to the elevator. I went throught the kitchen and grabbed an apple then went to the garage where I kept my 2010 volks wagon. I ran back inside to get my keys when my mom comes up behind me with one of my body gaurds.

"Honey where do you think your going?"

" I'm going to get some fresh air and go to the lake we always used to go to when I was a little girl. "

"Ok but take Tom with you. I don't want you to get hurt or get stolen ok?"

"Can't I go anywhere without a body gaurd"

"No you can't" A deep husky voice said. I knew that voice anywhere. It was my dad.

"Fine. I'll take Tom with me" I said dissappointidly, and with that I grabbed my keys got in the car wìth tom and drove off to the lake.

It took about 20 mintes to get to the lake and when I got there it was pitch black outside.

I walked with Tom to the lake and sat there for over an hour. I got back in my car and drove back to my palace. Once I got there. There were police cars and and abulance outside inside the palace gates. This can't be good.

I ran inside to see my sister Alyssa on the floor with paramedics and my parents surrounding her. I didn't know what was wrong with her but I knew it wasn't good and I was freaking out. I ran over to my parents and asked what was going on.

"Mom what happened to Alyssa?"

"She passed out. She stoopped breathing for a few minutes and the paramedics brought her back to life."

"Oh my gosh is she ok?"I asked worriedly

"Yes she is fine. The paramedics are going to take her to the hospital when they get her stable"

Wow this is a crazy night. The paramedics soon got Alyssa in the ambulance and police cars soon followed because they wanted to protect the royal family. I got in the limo with my dad and brother because we couldn't all fit in the ambulance and we soon followed the ambulance. It took about ten minutes to get to the hospital at about 50 miles an hour. We got to the hospital and got out of the limo and ran inside.

We waited in Alyssa's hospital room until she woke up. Time passed and she didn't wake up I started crying and getting really worried about her I was really close with her and I was really scared for her. My brother had a soccer tournament in the morning so my dad took him home. I stayed with my mom and waited patiently.

About half an hour my dad came back to the hospital to check on her and we waited. The doctors came in and out of the room to check on her but she didn't wake up.

I ended up getting some coffee for my family and I and that helped me stay up a little. About half an hour after I got the coffee I saw her eyes flutter and open. I called the doctors in right away. My parents had fallen asleep so they woke up when they heard me calling the doctor.

"Queen Marie can I talk to you outside?" The doctor asked

"Sure"

They went out in the hall and it took what seemed to be forever and she finally came back in with the doctor.

"Alyssa will be just fine. We want to keep her here for a couple of days and then she will be fine" The doctor said.

"That's really good news" My dad said

The doctor stayed and it was one in the morning by the time my dad and I left. I didn't want to leave my mom and Alyssa alone but I knew that I needed to get some sleep.

We got home and I texted Alex. The only problem is i don't know how old he is. Uh Oh what if he's like 30. I'd better ask him. I sent him a message asking how old he was.

He texted me back within seconds I didn't know he was going to be up this late but his response shocked me. He said" Hey, Im 23" He was waaay older than me. I didn't know what to say so I just put my phone on my night stand and crashed on my bed. Sleep over took me within seconds and before I knew it I was sound asleep.

That was a crazier chapter lol Just kidding i don't like how this chapter turned out. I'll make the next chapter better.
