Rossalina's POV

My eyes fluttered open the next morning and the bright warm sun shone in my face. I sat up rubbing my eyes and I looked at the time and it was 11 in the morning. Uh Oh I'm late for all my royal duties. I quickly hopped in the shower. I ran to my closet to pick something to wear. I picked out a light blue knee length dress and some light blue heels. I got to my vanity to do my makeup and then I curled my hair.

I ran downstairs and the smell of panckakes hit me. They smelled so good. Martha the chef made the best pancakes I have ever tasted. I sat down at the big table in our dining hall and my dad was staring at me like he was really upset.

"Rossalina your late!" My dad yelled at me

"I'm sorry daddy I was so tired last night and I didn't hear my alarm last night" I said back at him

"Well we only waited an hour. Eat quickly because you have to take your brother to his soccer tournament"

"Fine."

I forgot to mention my brother plays soccer but he has a special soccer team. The team consists of only royals. Oh and my brother is 16.

I got surved a huge plate of four pancakes with peanut butter on the top of each pancake. It was so good I finished two pancakes but my brother pushed me so I had to go to the car and drive him to his tournament.

"Come on Rose we are going to be late." He yelled at me

"I'm coming let me grab my phone from my room and my keys hang on" I yelled back at him

"HURRY UP!!!" He yelled even louder

I ran to the elevator and came down within seconds. I got my keys and ran to my volks wagon. My brother was already in the car. I started the car and drove out quickly. My phone started ringing and I told my brother to answer the phone.

"Hello?" My brother said

"No this is her brother she is driving right now but once she gets to my soccer tournament she will be able to talk"

"Ok I'll tell her"

"Ya no problem bye"

He hung up and gave me my phone back.

"Who was it?"

"Some guy named Alex"

"Oh what did he say?"

"He said he wants to meet you at the restaurant we had your birthaday"

"Ok thanks. We are here have fun! I hope you win the game!"

He got out of my car and I waited until he got to the field I left the park where they were holding the tournament and went to the restaurant that I had my birthday at. I parked my car in front of the building, got out of my car, locked it, and went inside.

I got seated and waited for Alex. He showed up about half an hour later and I had already ordered something for myself.

"Hey Rose"

"Hey Alex"

"So you didn't answer my text last night after I told you my age" He said dissappointedly

"Sorry I was really tired and I fell asleep." I lied because I didn't want to make him sad or anything

"Oh......" There was a long pause "It's ok I guess."

"I am so sorry my sister went to the hospital and" He cut me off

"Its ok your sister being in the hospital was all over the news."

"It was?"

"Yea, it was"

"I did not know that"

I only knew him for a day and I really started liking him....A lot. He was one of the nicest funniest guys I have ever met and not to mention he was really hot!

"Hey Rose?"

"Ya?"

"Uhm I have a question. If its too soon to ask you let me know but uhh" There was a pause " I only have known you for a day but uh will you uh be my girlfriend?"

"Really?"

"Yes I mean your so pretty and all that im not surprised if you have a boyfriend and all but like uh if you don't then I'm not going to force you too but I hope you will say yes"

Alex's POV

I was so nervous. I was scared that she would say no or that she already had a boyfriend. I was super scared to ask her.

"Hey Rose?" I asked nervously

"Ya?"

"Uhm I have a question. If its too soon to ask you let me know but uhh" I paused "I only have known you for a day but uh will you uh be my girlfriend?"

"Really?" She asked kind of shocked

"Yes I mean your so pretty and all that im not surprised if you have a boyfriend and all but like uh if you don't then I'm not going to force you too but I hope you will say yes"

I was so worried she would say no. She didn't answer for what seemed like forever. Then as she answered she shocked me.

"I would love to be your girlfriend. Also I have a boyfriend now, and thats you.

"Really?" I said

"Yes really."

"Like your not joking are you?"

"No I'm not joking."

"Yay thanks Rose" I said excitedly

"Your welcome. Hey I have to get going. I have to see how my sister is doing I'll talk to you later. Call me tonight ok?"

"Ok I'll talk to you later" I said dissapointedly

"Ok bye" She said

She stood up and walked out the door. I saw her walk to her car and got in. I was sad that she left but her family and her sister come first. Me being the gentleman that I am I payed the bill and left.

I drove home and got into my house sat on my couch. I felt two hands on my shoulders and I instintly knew who it was.

"Hi Honey" I said happily
