After the girls got dinner, the two walk down the streets together, the sun would soon be setting and the girls planned on watching it.
They walk past the closing shops, and the opening bars, waving to a few familiar faces from Eurovision.
They walk down to the beach like shore, sitting half way down the sand, so they were in the middle of the city side and the waves.
As the sky starts to turn a faint orange colour, Lauren looks around her, to her left, a familiar duo lying on the sand together.
"hey Quinn, do they look familiar to you?" Lauren asks her bestfriend, Quinn squinting at the pair.
"hm...oh, it's Efendi....and OH MY GO-" she says, Lauren slapping her hand over The girls mouth, stopping the pair from looking over at the girls.
"that's tix! the rumours are true!" She whisper shouts, dodging around Lauren's head to get a better look. "and oh my god, ITS ETHAN!"
she sits up quickly, flattening her hair down with her hands, pulling up her crop top a little more up her stomach.
"heyy guys!" she shouts, catching his attention, motioning his friends over to the girls.
"shit, oh lord, please Jesus, for this one moment, please"
"IM WITH LAUREN, COME OVER!" she yells, smiling at the group.
"quinn" Lauren says quietly, pulling her bestfriend closer to her, "i'm going to kill you, painfull- hi!"
She looks up to the four, the sky around them a darker shade of orange, the sun still high in the sky.
"sit sit! we were just about to watch the sunrise when we saw those lovebirds" Quinn says, motioning over to Tix and Efendi.
"awh, there quite cute" Victoria says, sitting down next to lauren, "what about you guys, you got lovers?" She nudges Lauren in the side, laughing at the comment.
"oh i'm very much single!" Quinn says, Lauren looking over at the girl, "oh and so is Lauren"
The sun starts to set from the sky, small conversation forming amongst them all, Quinn trying her best to talk to ethan as much possible.
"right, i'm going in the water, who's coming?" Thomas says, kicking off his shoes.
"i will!" - "no thanks" Quinn and Ethan say at the same time, Quinn quickly correcting herself and telling them she didn't want to come.
"oh screw it, i'm coming" Victoria says, running in hand in hand with Thomas.
With the sun half way down the sky, the two splash around in the water, Damiano slowly edging closer to lauren, lying on his side and facing her.
"you were on the radio earlier" she says, looking out on the water.
"oh yeah? thoughts?" he replies, a cocky grin on his lips.
"eh it was alright" She jokes, looking down at him, both smiling at eachother. Lauren was lying on her back, her elbows holding her up behind her.
Lauren returns to looking back along the water, a comfortable silence surrounding them. Almost, too silent. Lauren looks around her, Ethan and Quinn were no longer on the beach.
"what the-"
"no need to worry" he says, "There probably having it off somewhere, there smart, right?"
"i mean, to a certain level..." Lauren replies.
Another silence surrounds the two, a debate in Lauren's head on what to say next.
"so tell me more about kaydn" he says, breaking the silence they had.
"p-pardon?" she questions, looking at him, "you want to know about my ex?"
"yeah...?" he says, looking back at Lauren.
"i don't know what to tell you, i mean, he cheated on me with a close friend, then i wrote an album about my feelings around it?" she says, letting out a soft laugh.
"mhm...interesting" he says, looking back out onto the water.
"okay some weird shits going on here, why am i being questioned on my ex?"
Damiano looks at her for a few seconds, before looking back at the almost set sun. For a while Lauren didn't think he was gonna say anything, until he finally did.
"i was listening to your album" he starts, "i just, was curious, great songs by the way...but, on a level i can rela-"
"Lauren! hola!" The two spin around, Blas standing right behind them, "oh, am i interrupting something?"
"yes" - "no" The pair say at the same time, Damiano frowning at the man.
"oh erm well, Lauren can i speak to you?" He asks, fiddling with his watch on his wrist.
"yeah of course, what's up?" Lauren says, Blas standing to the side of Lauren.
"i was kind of thinking privately?" he says, looking over at Damiano warily, who was still frowning at him.
"i mean yea-"
"why not here?" Damiano says, "i don't judge my friend!"
"oh god" Lauren whispers under her breathe, smiling at Blas.
"oh uh, yeah okay" Blas says, still fiddling with his watch, "i just wanted to know if you wanted to hang out tomorow maybe? you know, on our own" he laughs, trying to keep eye contact with Lauren.
"oh, erm, i mean, i have rehearsals in the afternoon, but, i'm free in the morning?" Lauren says, an awkward feeling lingering around the three.
"i- yeah that works for me! ill text you, yeah?"
Two send eachother a few last smiles, before Blas turns his back on the two, walking off in the other direction into the city.
"well that wasn't awkward" Damiano jokes, a loud laughter exploding out of the man, "your gonna go with him?"
"well yeah, i can't just not turn up" she says, realising the sun had fully set, and the sky was beginning to grow darker.
They look at eachother for a small few minuets, the sound of Quinn and ethan laughing interrupting the peacefulness.
"lauren come on, we gotta go" she says, dragging her up by her arm, "by Damiano, i'll see you later Ethan"
"bye bye" Damiano says, looking over at Lauren, "have fun tomorrow"
Lauren looks back at the man, but he was already walking back towards Vic and Thomas, who were both soaking wet.
"Tomorrow? girl tell me everything"
