The group start to pull out of the car park, a load of traffic being spotted on the sat nav in front of them. Dylan leans forward and turns on the music, the boys all singing along to the lyrics.
Lauren was very lucky to have free pick of who she wanted her dancers to be, and be so lucky to get along with them all so well. She had known Ronnie since secondary school, the two being in the same form together and then going to similar colleges so they always stayed in touch.
Her and Jack met when Lauren was travelling a few years back, meeting in Monaco where they shared the same love for music and performing. She met Will through Jack and met Dylan only a year ago where he was a backup for her at the brits.
"what was that phone call about?" Ronnie says, turing down the music in the front so they could talk but the boys could still sing along to their music loudly.
"my parents...they can't come to the final" Lauren says, looking out of the window, "mum dosnt wanna get the vaccine and won't let dad get it"
"oh god" Ronnie says, looking at the girl, "is your brother coming?"
"yeah George is coming with Nat and Zara but, i don't know it's just a bit disappointing"
"yeah i know, but your parents love you and you know they will go full out at home and make sure you know how much they support you"
"exactly and i don't want to seem like...ungrateful for their support because they've supported me so much over the years, but, it's just a bit of a let down."
"davies, if you really think that feeling that makes you ungrateful then your more thick in the head than i thought" Ronnie says, laughing at the girl with his eyes still on the road.
"not only thick in the head" Lauren jokes, turning up the volume on the radio in the front, the loud voices of the boys making the music almost unbearable.
After half n hour in the car, they arrive back at the hotel, parking their car around the bend and locking it. They walk into the hotel lobby and down to the bar by the restaurant and taking their places at a booth in the corner.
"you know, i've given up on relationships" Will says, dropping his phone onto the table.
"uhoh, who's ghosted you this time" Dylan says, Jack and Ronnie walking over to the bar to get the drinks.
"right so, you know the girl i met on the plane?"
"no" - "yeah"
"Lauren do you ever keep up...anyway, so we've been talking for a few days yeah, turns out, she's MARRIED, yeah MARRIED with kids!" Will shouts slamming his head onto the table.
"damn Will, your in deep" Dylan says, slapping him on the back of the head as the others walk back over.
"what's up with redhead over there?" Jack asks, Dylan Grabbing one of the glasses in the centre of the table.
"his sneaky link is married with kids" Lauren says, taking a sip of her drink placed infront of her.
"it's okay D, at least you wont be tied down anymore" He says, laughing at the boy.
"that's not the point Jack, he really liked the girl! even if it meant he was tied down" Lauren says, frowning at the boy.
"yeah your right..." Dylan starts.
"thank you, Dylan" Lauren says, smiling at the boy.
"i'm not tied down anymore! i can fuck who i want!"
"what no-!"
"that's my boy!" Will says, wrapping his arm around him.
"hey lauren?" Ronnie says to her, looking off into the direction behind her, "isn't that Quinn?"
Lauren frantically spins around in her seat, looking towards the door where Quinn was standing, accompanied by Two boys and a girl who she had linked arms with, one of the boys being Måneskins Drummer, Ethan.
Lauren looks around back to The boys, Ronnie and Jack looking at her whilst the other two look over to Quinn and the group.
"oh yeah...that is her" Will says, "quinn! OI QUINN! OVER HERE!"
Jack slaps him on the bicep, as a look of realisation spreading along Wills face, looking directly at Lauren.
"i'm gonna kill you" Lauren mouths, the familiar laugh of Quinn ringing through her ears as she, followed by her friends walk over.
"hi boys! how are we all this evening?" she says, not daring to look at lauren.
"we're great thank you, yourselves?" Will says, smiling at the girl.
"oh yes, we're just great thank you, oh god how rude of me!" Quinn says, looking at the group, "guys this is Sophie, Josh and as you already know, Ethan" They all great the group, looking at the boys but ignoring Lauren in the corner.
"oh Lauren, pardon me, i didn't see you in the corner, i thought you were still on the carpet" Ethan says, smiling at the girl.
"oh it's fine Ethan!" Lauren smiles, "yeah we left around 30 minutes ago, when did you guys leave?"
"okay yeah we're gonna go sit down now" Quinn says, interrupting the pair, "bye bye boys" The three walk of, Ethan holding back to say goodbye to Lauren, sliding over a bit of paper to the girl, only Ronnie seeing the sneaky move.
"trust me" Ethan mouths, before running back over to Quinn and the other pair.
Lauren looks over at Ronnie in confusion, taking the note from infront if him and opening it, ronnie reading it from over her shoulder.
