After completing plenty of interviews, Lauren and the boys reach the end of the carpet, a large crowd of fans, artists and security gathered outside.

"Lauren! over here!" Lauren looks around, groups of paparazzi snapping photos of her, others asking her questions with large microphones in hand.

"lauren what's your opinion on the other contenders?"

"there all very talented, lovely people" Lauren says, different questions being thrown at her all at once.

"Lauren! where's quinn today!"

"i..couldn't tell you" she says, pulling her phone out of her pocket, "excuse me"

Lauren walks away with the boys following not to far behind, Jack leading them off towards the car park where their car would be.

"hello?" Lauren says into her phone, raising it to her ear.

"lauren? can you hear me? i don't know how to go on speaker..." - "give it to me claire, i know how to do it" - "David! i am capable of putting a phone on speaker" - "no you don't, your about to end the call! give it here! asee i've done it now"

"hi mum, hi dad" Lauren says into her phone, softly chuckling at her parents.

"oh darling we are so proud of you, we just watched you from the turquoise carpet, you look beautiful" Her mum says, a smile spreading onto the girls face, "although i have to say, your waist was looking very small...are you eating enough?"

"mum! i'm eating plenty that you very much...how is it back home?"

"well, the sky is the colour of the pavements...but the family's good, everyone's been watching all of your interviews" Dad says, footsteps being heard through the phone.

"wassup wanker!" Lauren hears her brother shouting, a large shout being followed by her mum, lecturing her brother about his language.

"hello george" Lauren laughs, hearing her brothers voice through the phone, "how's the girlfriend"

"she's good actually, thank you very much"

"okay sit down George, now lauren...there's something else we need to tell you" Her dad says, a more serious tone to their voices.

"of course, what's up?" Lauren asks, walking closer to the car filled with boys.

"darling i want you to know we love you so much and we're so proud with all of your music" her mum starts, a flash of concern washing over Lauren, "but...me and your father can't make it to the final"

For a few seconds lauren is in a state of shock, not being able to reply to what her mum just said to her, "wait what? why? is everything okay?"

"yes yes of course it's just that-"

"they wont get the vaccine" her brother says, clear annoyance in his voice.

"...what" Lauren says dryly, rolling her eyes at the pair, "you joking right?"

"i would get it, but your mother won't let me, tells me it will give me cancer!"

"well david if you read the article i sent to you, then you'd know the dangers of it!" Her mum says, her voice raising at the man, "Lauren i'm so sorry...but your brothers coming and so is Zara and Nat! oo and i heard Kaydns out there too! maybe you to could reconnect if you know what i mean"

"mum, he's gay"

"wait really?" her mum says, - "wait what?" her brother and dad say at the same time, "i KNEW IT" George shouts, clicking his fingers.

"no you didn't" Her dad says to the boy. "YES I DID DAD, DO YOU NOT REMEMBER WHEN I TOLD YOU HOW I FOUND GAY PORN ON HIS PHONE?"

"you did what now?"

"you were on his phone?"

"he left porn open? just like that?"

"IT DOSNT MATTER OKAY, ITS THE FACT THAT I KNEW HES GAY WAHOO!"

"George calm yourself, you have a girlfriend"

"wait no- hold on a second" George says, his voice returning back to normal, "that's not what i me-"

"look the point is, you'll have a great time without us okay? we're having a massive party at the great hall with all your friends family and almost all of the neighbourhood, we're all rooting for you!"

"thanks dad, i'll miss you both" Lauren says, clear disappointment in her voice.

"we love you okay?" her mum says, "George will be there soon...bye honey!!"

"by mum, by dad" Lauren says, hanging up the phone. She looks at her phone for a while, before walking back to the car, jumping into the front next to Ronnie.

"your driving?" Lauren says, looking back at Jack in confusion.

"god don't remind me...ronnie i swear to god i will hurt you if you damage my baby"

"don't worry jacky, i wont hurt our baby"

"just drive ronnie"

WOW HI, hello hello it's been a while hasn't it lmao. okay so i owe you all an explanation, i'm currently in France rn if anyone was wondering Lmao. okay so like a month or two ago i got logged out of my account on wattpad, i contacted them and tried to do a lot but wattpad was just not letting me do anything. After a week or so of trying, i eventually gave up and i took those few weeks to focus on my mental health as it wasn't doing to good during those times and really needed the space i never knew i needed. It then came to my attention that i could log into my wattpad on my Laptop, and Voila here i am. Last night i was rewatching Eurovision (cause why not lmao) and i realised how much i really loved it and how much i loved to write about it. so here i am, returning to wattpad to finish this journey i started with almost 60k of you. i love you all so much and once again i'm sorry for leaving but i have no intentions on leaving again, any questions either leave a comment or message my privately <3
