"your doing something to me Damiano David"

They look at each other for a few moments, Damiano letting out a few chuckles whilst they float around in the water.

Without any notice, he grabs hold of the back of her thighs and lifts the girl up over his shoulder bridal style, Lauren squirming in his grasp.

"DAMIANO!" she screams, kicking her legs around, "put me down!"

"no can do!" The boy laughs, making his way out of the lake and back by the fishing dock.

"no, don't you dare" lauren says, looking under Damianos arm to see him heading towards the edge of the dock.

"lauren" he says, dragging out the end of her name, "live a little!"

He picks up his pace as he takes a large jump of the side, letting go of Lauren as she flips around.

They both enter the water with a splash, their bodies close together as their legs intertwined by their feet, the world moving through slow motion for a few moments.

They re-entered the surface Damiano already looking down on her, a large smirk on his face.

"your not funny" she says, pushing hair from out of her eyes.

"oh i'd disagree" he says, running his hands through his hair, "i'm a living comedian"

"your a living joke that's what you are"

"awh, that's a shame"

"isn't it just"

They smirk at each other for a few moments, Lauren trying to figure out what was going on in the boys head.

"oh come here" he says, locking his hands and wrapping them over her head and around her waist.

She lets her arms drop behind the boys neck, pushing herself up so she could wrap her legs around his torso yet again.

Lauren was now looking down slightly on him, their wet skin pushed up against each other. She studied the tattoos dotted around his chest and shoulders, admiring the beautiful pieces of art that traveled along his body.

One in particular caught her attention, a small one on the man's shoulder. It was quite simple really, one word, That one word amazed Lauren, and she had no clue why.

"enough"

that was it.

"the first tattoo i ever received" he says, Lauren looking back up to the man's eyes, "quite special indeed, i can understand why your studying it for so long"

"it's just..." lauren starts, "i don't even know, it's one word that just has...so much meaning, it's quite scary isn't it"

"scary?"

"you don't think it's frightening how so little can make such a difference?"

He lets out a loud laugh, Lauren giggling slightly realising how stupid she was sounding at that moment in time.

"your stupid" he says, "have you got any tattoos?"

"five" she says, "their all small ones but still, a tattoo is a tattoo"

"lets see then" he says, looking at the girl, "i wanna see the art"

"alright alright" she says, showing off the places her the ink was placed.

She raises her ring finger and turns it to the side, the word "eventually" written in cursive.

"i think that one's pretty self explanatory"
