"Oh my god. Alex Karev is so attractive. I wish he would pull me into an on-call room and just go ham!" Reed exclaimed, her toothbrush in her mouth and a bit of foamy toothpaste rolling down her chin.
"Go for him," April called out from the toilet. She had come back home for a weekend to finish packing her bags.
Charlotte was silent as she stepped out of the shower, a white towel wrapped tightly around her body. The mention of Alex Karev was somewhat painful for the girl, especially because her twin sister seemed to have fallen head over heels in love with the man. The man acted as if the moment of intimacy they shared was nothing. Maybe it did not mean anything to him, but he was Charlotte's first. He knew that now. He knew everything about Charlotte, perhaps even more than her own sister.
"I just feel bad. His wife is gone, poof. Maybe I could fill that void," Reed said. She spit the toothpaste into the sink and rinsed her mouth.
Charlotte scoffed, "That's sick, Reed." And with that, she rushed to her bedroom.
Moments later, Reed burst into the room with arrogance and irritation and shouted, "The fuck, sis? You always support my sex life and desires! I'm sorry you're so dry down there that you wouldn't understand."
Charlotte turned to look at her sister in disbelief. She wanted to argue, but she found herself struggling to come up with words to say. Reed has never been mean to Charlotte. Sure, they fought like normal siblings, but Reed never said anything that would really hurt Charlotte. She wanted to tell the girl that she was wrong, but she just couldn't.
Charlotte shook back tears, tossed her diary, keys and wallet into her purse, and stormed out of the small apartment.

"Wallace's family is giving a donation to the hospital as a sort of thank you and birthday present," Arizona Robbins told Charlotte as she walked up to the counter Charlotte was sitting at charting.
"That's wonderf-"
"$25 million," she cut in again.
"Oh my everloving bajeezus. I knew they were rich but millions?"
"Right?" Arizona agreed. The pair stood flabbergasted.
"That kind of makes this birthday lollipop look like garbage," Charlotte laughs, holding up the candy to the attending. Arizona took it happily.
"Candy doesn't come with Richard Webber breathing down my neck. And now Wallace had a bad night and I just feel guilty about the money."
"He had a bad night?" Charlotte's heart dropped. It wasn't uncommon for the boy to struggle here and there, but something about the timing didn't sit right with the girl. She had a bad feeling.
