She came from Greece, she had a thirst for knowledge
She studied sculpture at Saint Martin's College

Caught her eye

"Hey."

"Hey." The Boy in front of you responded, leaning against his locker.

"I was wondering if you'd like to go get something to eat?" You Asked.

The boy smiled. "Sure."

"Do you know a good place? I'm new here."

"I can think of one place.."

She told me that her dad was loaded
I said, "In that case I'll have rum and Coca-Cola"
She said "Fine"

As the two of you ate in silence, you looked up at the boy. "What's your name anyway?"

"Gerard." The Boy Said, taking a sip of his soda.

You smiled. "I'm Y/N."

He smiled back, then looked back down at his food.

"Just wondering," you started. "Are you...rich?"

Gerard coughed, suppressing a laugh. "Rich?" He asked. "Nowhere close...why?"

"My dad's loaded...I just.." you stared into space and went silent. "Never mind, it's stupid."

Gerard looked at you curiously. "No, please," he said. "Go ahead."

"I wanna live like common people."

And then in thirty seconds time she said

The two of you stepped into the supermarket, and you looked around.

"So...What do we do here?" You Asked.

"You buy stuff, like food." Gerard Said, picking up a can of some sort and looking at it.

"Oh." You Said. "We don't go anywhere to get food."

I took her to a supermarket
I don't know why
But I had to start it somewhere
So it started there

"Pretend you've got no money." He said.

You laughed. "You're funny."

"Yeah." He responded, smiling at you.

"I can't see anyone else smiling in here, Are you sure?" You Asked.
