Chapter 27

The next day, Denki was just hanging out with his friends when he stood up to head to the bathroom. On his way there, he ran into a trio of boys. One had brown hair, another had blonde while the third was an owl. The brunette, Denki recognised. He was the one that threw that ball at his face yesterday. The other two, though, were unfamiliar to him.

"Well, well, well...! Look who we have here! It's the blonde Japanese kid. Derpy was it?"

"It's Denki. Don't be rude."

"Oh! I'm sorry! NOT!"

"Who even are you?"

"The name's Kalum Roe. The blonde jackass is Owen and the owl is Hayden."

"Nice to meet you!"

"You can stop being so fake."

"I'm not. This is what I'm usually like."

"Bullshit. Look. I rule this school. I'm like the king of the jungle. Mess with me and I will put you on permanent life support, I would've fucked you up so bad. Got it."

"You're acting just like a friend of mine! His name is Katsuki Bakugo. His quirk is explosion. He started of really rude and he was a bit of a bully but the moment we became friends, he changed. Hope that can happen with us!"

"Hahaha! FriENDs?! Who the fuck, do you think I am? Are you deaf?! I will fuck your face up in the blink of an eye!"

"Alright then. Can I head to the bathroom, now? That is where I was going in the first place."

Denki pushed past them and continued on his way, only to feel the presence that they might be following him. He looked back and they were walking the opposite way. They actually looked like video game characters lagging. He just shrugged it off and pushed open the door to the bathroom.

When he was washing his hands, Kalum, Owen and Hayden walk in. The boys approached him, causing the small blonde to back away. They then started to push him. Denki eventually felt his back hit the wall. They started to snicker and laugh at Denki's scared expression. Kalum stood back, arms crossed and looking menacing. Hayden stood side on and continued to snicker. Owen reeled back his hand, now a fist, and brought it towards Denki's face over and over again before slamming into his stomach.

The door opened and a boy with black hair, an aqua streak and cat ears walks in, just seemingly minding his own business. He looked up. His eyes widened when he saw what was happening.

"Denki...?!" the boy said in a small voice.

"Conan!" Denki gasped as another fist was brought to his stomach.

"L-leave h-him... a-alone...!"

"What are ya going to do about it, Bastard?" Kalum growled.

"I-I..."

"Back off! He's not... doing anything to you...!" Denki said angrily.

Conan hung his head, tail curling around his legs and ears dropping. Denki could tell that he was also a victim of bullying. From the same three that are beating the crap out of him now? He didn't know. But it was quiet evident that he might need so assistance in standing up for himself.

"Whatever. Come on, Hayden. Owen. Let's leave these defects and doing something else that is actually worth our time." Kalum said placidly, the other two boys following him in pursuit as they exited the bathroom. They shoved Conan in the shoulder on their way.

Once they had left, Conan looked up and saw a collapsed Denki sitting on the cold bathroom floor. He ran over and crouched by his side, offering his hand.
