The Bus had to stop to refill on petrol, so Aizawa took the option to talk to Vlad King about moving Kendo onto 1A's bus. He had immediately agreed to it. So, when everyone was loading back onto the buses, Kendo joined 1A. Sero had said that Kendo could sit next to Mina and that he would sit next to Iida. Denki was still pretty tired so he leaned against Shinso's shoulder and closed his eyes.
The next thing Denki knew when he woke up, was the bus pulling up in front of the school. Dread set in his stomach. He has to go back home. He had to go back to the monster that is waiting for him. To hurt him. Or, possibly, killhim.
He had some how stood off the bus with all his bags and his phone in his hand. He didn't want to walk home and he didn't want to get his dad to pick him up. Everyone was running undercover as it was currently raining. Everyone was waiting for their parents to come and collect them.
First it was Todoroki to leave with his sister Fuyumi. Then Hawks came to pick up Tokoyami, Midoriya's mother collected him with Bakugo's mother not far behind. One by one, everyone had left until it was just Kendo, Kirishima, Tetsutetsu, Shinso and Denki left. A black car pulled up and, with a look of dread, Kendo walked up to it, hoped in and left.
A white Toyota pulled up and the shark toothed brothers walked over, throwing their stuff in. Before he jumped in, Kirishima looked back at Denki.
"Hey, Kamibro!?" Kiri yelled over the rain.
"Yeah?!"
"Do you want a lift?!"
"No thanks! My dad should be here any moment!"
Denki got an alert on his phone and it read; Findyourownfuckingwayhomeyoushithead. I'mnotwastingmytime.
"Actually! Kiri?!"
"Yeah?!"
"I'll take that lift!"
Denki picks up his stuff and runs over. He slips into the back next to the red head. They smile at each other and Denki clips himself in.
"Thank you, Mrs. Kirishima."
"Don't mention it! Now. Where to?"
"3rd Avenue, Saitama."
"WOW, Bro! I didn't realise we lived so close!"
"What do you mean?"
"We live in Chiba!"
"...oh..!"
A few minutes later, they reach 3rd Avenue. They keep driving till they reach house No. 5. Denki's house. He thanks the Kirishimas and hops out with his bags. He closes the door, waves and walks to the front door. He hesitantly turns the door handle before walking in...
"Dad...? Are you home...?"
Denki closes the door and places his bags down near the door. He carefully scopes about the house, looking for the location of his Father. He hears the floorboards creek. He stiffens and turns slowly, only to be met with a punch to the face, sending him crashing to the floor.
"I told you I will make up for it when you return. By the way... I saw that you got a lift. You didn't tell them anything, did you? Cause you know what I'll do if you did~!"
"I didn't tell them anything, Sir! I swear! They no nothing! They just gave me a lift so I wouldn't have to walk in the rain!"
"Your such a fucked up idiot aren't you?! You're worried about walking home in the rain?!"
He grabs Denki by the arm, tightly, opens the front door, throws the blonde out and locks the door behind him. Denki pounds against the door, tears and rain rolling down his face. He screams to try and get his attention. He starts to sneeze violently and cough. Being locked out in the rain won't do good for his cold. He turns and slides down the slicked surface of the door until his ass hits the wet steps.
"please... let me in..."
He coughs again and starts to shiver violently. He curls in on himself and tries to create enough body heat to partially keep himself warm, but to no avail. He's going to freeze to death out here and the only thing he has to keep warm is his hoodie. He pulls the hood up, retreats his hands further into the sleeves and tries to keep his mind from the fact of freezing to death or catching Pneumonia.
About an hour has passed. The rain hasn't eased off but got heavier with thunder and lightning. Denki was still sitting on the front steps, coughing, sneezing and sniffing. His cold had defiantly evolved into a flu.
"dad... please..."
He looked up as he heard a car drive past. Through half lidded eyes, he watched as the car stopped before the house and an older man with blonde hair ran out.
"Hey kid! You OK?!" He asked.
"..." Denki didn't say anything except curl in tighter on himself.
