Xuan woke up go being in an upright position. She looked around frantically until she realized it was Zhang. Her surroundings weren't familiar to Xuan. It seemed like a new airport, but she still wasn't sure where she was.
Xuan noticed the wound on Zhangs shoulder. She felt guilty that he was carrying her. "Zhay?" She called.
"Yes sweety?" Zhang asked calmly.
"Doesn't your shoulder hurt?"
Zhang pushed Xuan higher ingo his arms. "Not really. It's healed a good amount."
"Don't call me sweety. And stop calling me X. And... stop calling me." Xuan added calmly.
Zhang laughed. "It's habit. I don't talk to people unless I'm either about to kill them, or it's a child I'm training. I've probably called you that before."
Zhang walked in silence while Xuan found comfort in his shoulder. She stared at him, studying him.
He had slicked back silver hair and brown eyes. He had a heavy build and was strong. At least stronger than her.
Zhang was smiling. Xuan laughed a little and burried her face in between his shoulder and neck.
"You've been asleep for a while. We're in Hawaii. I bought a helecopter so we don't have to wait 2 days. We'll be home soon.
Xuan held him tightly. "Does your arm hurt too? From the tracker?"
"It shocked my hand really bad when I cut the wire. I'll get you some ice," Zhang walked towards a small restaurant and ordered ice.
"How did you get a helecopter?" Xuan asked.
Zhang didn't answer and walked out of the airport. He looked around before walking down the street. "Mafia, X. We are part of a mafia."
"Where are you going?" Xuan asked. Zhang set her down and grabbed her arm, pulling her through an alley behind a building. "Zhay. What the hell?"
"We're going to a feild a mile away. We're walking so one can follow us." He explained.
"Zhay. I can't walk that far. It hurts I-
Zhang picked her up again, holding her tightly. "Alright. We have 30 minutes."
"Zhay," Xuan sighed, resting her head on his shoulder.
Zhang walked down the street quietly. Finally, 23 minutes later he reached the feild. "There's the helecopter," Zhang pointed, setting Xuan down.
Xuan took a step back. "It's so loud."
"Come on." Zhang took her hand and ran to the helecopter.
"Zhay. Too loud. I can't-
Zhay picked her up again, covering her ears. He jumped into the helecopter and quickly slid the headphones on her. "Better?" He asked.
"What?" She questioned, holding the headphones to her ears.
Zhang laughed and put a pair on himself. "Better?"
"Yes." She nodded.
Zhang smiled and watched her stand up, curiously leaning out the door. Zhang got up and held the handle by the door, and wrapped hisnother arm arounf Xuans waist. "Be careful."
Xuan smiled, amused by the veiw. She leaned further out, letting the door go and trusting Zhang. Zhang laughed and held her tighter. He waited a few minutes before pulling her back in.
"I'll be right back." Zhang took the headphones off and handed them to Xuan. He walked to the front of the helicopter and tapped the pilots shoulder.
"Yeah," he had to yell over the noise.
"Can we jump?" He asked, pointing at the bungees.
The pilot shrugged. "Sure. I'll land you on the roof then. You'll have to jump a few feet." He warned.
Zhang nodded and grabbed the bungees. He started hooking it up to himself then took the headphones back. "Hold me," he pulled Xuan.
Xuan held the back of the bungee that was connected to Zhang as he leaned out of the helecopter. "Zhay. What the hell are you doing? Get in here." Xuan yelled.
Zhang finished connecting the bungee to the helecopter then offered his hand to Xuan. "Trust me." He smiled.
Xuan took his hand hesitantly. "What are you-
Zhang pulled her into him, holding her back. Xuan wrapped her legs around him in fear and held his neck. "3," He started counting.
"Zhay! No! No! Zhay I don't like this!"
"2," he put their helmets on.
"Zhay don't you dare!"
"1." Zhang slowly fell backwards.
Xuan held him tightly. He took there helmets off and let them fall. "How's the veiw?" He asked.
Xuan looked around. It was a pleasent veiw. Amazing. Cloudy, but it made the sunset more admirable. Xuan smiled. "Pretty."
"Are you happy now?" He asked.
Xuans smile faded. "I know you just want the money, but I still had a nice time. I never thought desperation for money and pitty could lead you to be this gentle."
Zhang laughed and sighed. "Hey. I almost got a pretty girl out of it too."
"Not even close."
"How long have you known?" He asked.
Xuan shrugged. "I knew the whole time. I was awake every time you were talking to yourself."
"Well shit. Guess you are good at that." Zhang laughed. The helecopter started landing so he adjusted them for and easy fall. Finally they reached the building and he unbuckled himself. Xuan made sure to make sure he wasn't hurt, and landed first. She managed to land with one knee down and the other up while Zhang rolled until he stopped. "So why didn't you hurt me? Kill me? Why did you let me hold you?"
Xuan held her stomach and stood up. "You're his favorite. If I killed you. . . He'd hurt me. Besides, sometimes it's nice having someone to be there for you."
Zhang sighed and walked to her. He grabbed her arm with the wire and reconnected them. "I did feel bad about this. And I hate knowing what you're going through." He walked to the stairs. "X. I really hope I won't see you again." He stepped away.
"Can you get Gyu for me? It hurts," Xuan called.
Zhay held up a thub and continued walking.
Xuan fell, crumpling into a ball. Long minutes passed before Gyu came up. "Xuan! It's ok. I can fix this."
