Third Person POV (more Thomas than anything but whatever)
Thomas woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. That's strange. He thought. Normally, he was up well before my alarm clock went off. He checked the time. Oh, shuck. This wasn't his original alarm. This was his get-up-school-starts-in-15-minutes-you-overslept alarm. The brunette rolled out of bed and pulled on jeans and a worn XC hoodie, grabbed his backpack after stuffing the homework in it, and raced out the door, forgoing breakfast entirely.
Arriving at the school with two minutes to spare he dropped his books at his locker and raced to his first-period class with Dr. Paige. She hated it when people were late.
As Thomas stepped into the classroom, the bell rang. Dr. Paige gave him a look that said that this was his warning and that there would be consequences if he was late again. The boy wisely kept his head down in a silent apology and walked to his normal seat.
Dr. Paige started the class, and everyone pulled out their notebooks and began writing down what she put on the board. She was rambling about brain waves and something of the like, but Thomas wasn't paying attention much. This class only to fill out the elective slot on his sheet to graduate, because there was no shucking way he was taking computer science. Technology and the boy didn't exactly get along.
Halfway through the lesson, unfortunately, his body decided that the protein shake he downed before class needed to come out. He cursed underneath my breath.
"Dr. Paige? I need to use the restroom. May I leave?" Thomas asked, trying to stay on her good side by looking extremely apologetic.
"Fine Mr. Edison. Again, though, and it's detention. Understood?" Thomas nodded. She was in a good mood today. He quickly gathered his stuff and walked to the restroom. But on the way, he saw something. A flash of blond hair. Two different shades, two different heads, walking along the corridor in the middle of class. But it wasn't any of his business, so he left the people alone.
On his way back to class, however, he heard the sounds of shouting and faint whimpering.
"I need that assignment, slinthead! Where is it?" A deep bass voice sounded, with a threatening edge. Thomas peeked my head around the corner to see the school bully, bad boy, whatever you want to call him, Gally threatening a smaller boy with blond hair and glasses, tears shining in his doe brown eyes.
A/n: ok I hate making Gally the bully, but it's not gonna be Alby or Frypan or Chuck, so this is what you get.
"It's not done yet, Gally. You won't get a good grade on it if you turn it in like this. Give me until after lunch, I promise it will be done." The blonde boy said, keeping his tone even no matter how much his body language said he was frightened of the older boy.
