Guys... I just thought about this...

Leo had it ROUGH before he was sent to Wilderness School and met Jason and Piper and went to Camp Half-Blood. Just read this:

He was 8 when his mom died

He was 8 when his mom died. 8. He had to go through a lot of klunk before he was a teenager, shuck, before he was even 10! He was interrogated by the police as an 8-year-old, probably multiple times. He was deemed a freak by the only family that he had left before he was 9. He was living on the streets and in foster homes from the time he was 8 until he was 15. That's 7 years. He never grew up properly. Sure, he was in foster homes and orphanages for part of the time, but he was constantly running away from the pain, telling jokes and smiling just to make everyone think he was okay when he wasn't.

Leo went through a lot, and honestly, we don't see enough psychological backlash in the series for the amount of klunk he went through. A lot of the stuff in the picture up there is probably true! He probably did think he killed his mom, at one point in time or another. He probably was yelled at by his Aunt Rosa, the ONLY living family he had left. He did run away, multiple times, because the pain became too much to bear, and he ran out of jokes and smiles to cover it up. He probably did spend a lot of time in the sewers, alone, in the dark, cold, as a 12-year-old, scavenging for food in the dumpsters and trashes. And yeah, he probably sang happy birthday to himself at least 4 or 5 times, until he realized birthdays weren't worth celebrating when you have no one to celebrate them with.

Camp Half-Blood was the best thing to ever happen to Leo. It gave him a home and a family, something he hadn't had in a long time. And eventually, it gave him Calypso too.

Alright, I'm done. I have wayyyyy too much time on my hands. It's the summer, so that might explain it. Feel free to ignore this, like most of my rants. And there might be some oneshots coming out soon YAY!

Anyways, I hoped you guys enjoyed. See you in another world gladers, demigods, fairykind and shadow charmers, dragons, mermaids, Storm Runners, Pandava brothers and sisters, Cahills (all branches welcome), time travelers, book scavengers, adventurers, survivors, and those who will live a thousand lives before they die.

Signing off,
