Chapter 6: Trusted Men

DESMOND'S POV:

"Stefani killed our cousin and the other guy who was sent with that red headed bitch and apparently, he asked Max to send his head to you, brother."

Jax frowned. He was super pissed but I wasn't because he deserved to lose his cousin after shit talking about me.

He continued, "Our idiot cousin told Stefani that he is your cousin even when I told him to not fucking talk and boom!"

"What about Red?" I asked while rubbing my chin. "Did he torture her also or did he just kill her?"

"Well, he neither tortured her nor did he kill her." He replied.

"WHAT?!" I was shocked and furious. "That bitch messed up our whole plan! She's the one who was supposed to be killed for spying! How is she still alive?!" I was exasperated and irked.

"She must have told him about her past. She must've told him what we did to her and her family and you know the rest." Jax said in a cold and neutral tone while crossing his arms. I knew what he meant.

"But what are we going to do next? She screwed our whole plan!" Jax's brother asked worriedly.

"Think of the positive part, brother. We can always use her!" Jax shrugged. "You know, they say Keep your friends close and your enemies closer and you're already very close to Xander Stefani!"

Jax smirked and I understood that WE ARE ABOUT TO TURN THE TABLES AND I CAN DO ANYTHING TO MAKE THAT RED HEADED BITCH SUFFER!

Meanwhile...

ARIANA'S POV:

"Bitch seriously?!" Kylie yelled at Liam. "You were the sperm that won?!"

Liam looked as if she studied literature but the exam was of physics.

"You know what?" She continued. "You must be born in a highway! 'CAUSE THAT'S WHERE ACCIDENTS HAPPEN THE MOST!" She stomped her feet.

"Wow..." I said. "There's no doubt that she's YOUR sister." Xander looked at me with a scowl face.

Suddenly, his phone vibrated as he received a text. As soon as he glanced at his phone, his expression changed. His mesmerizing deep blue orbs looked so dark as if it can slaughter everyone by just looking at them. His body was slightly tensed yet motionless. It looked like he stopped breathing at that moment and his sudden change in attitude left me bewildered... and kinda scared me.

He left the room without any further ado.

What's wrong with him again? His expression changed in a matter of seconds.

I kept thinking about what might've gone wrong while awkwardly staring at the door which he left open after exiting the room.

"Hey Ari!" Kylie waved her hand at me and asked, "When did you come? We didn't notice you coming."

Probably when I heard you saying 'Oh yeah faster' to your brother!

"Is everything alright?" She asked with genuine concern.

"Uhm, Yeah... Why wouldn't it be?" I replied sheepishly.

"I don't know. You're just acting weirder than usual." She shrugged.

"No, everything is fine." I looked at her uncomfortably because I didn't know what to say now until I realized what she said.

"Wait!" I exclaimed a straight face. "What the fuck do you mean by weirder than usual?"
