ARIANA'S POV:

Suddenly, I felt like everything around me was getting blur. There was a sharp pain on my head which was making it impossible for me to open my eyes anymore. My head was spinning and I tugged my hair as I whimpered because of the staggering headache. Then, all I could see was darkness. I laid there, unconscious.

When I regained my consciousness, I felt myself lying on a comfortable bed. I had a warm blanket covering me. My head was still spinning and the headache was still there but I could at least open my eyes.

Where am I?

Where am I?

At first, my vision was hazy but soon, I could focus and study my surroundings. I realized that I was on the bed inside our tent. I relaxed because for a moment, I thought it was just a dream. But then, my body started hurting just like before and the drowsiness was all over me. I couldn't get up. My limbs weren't moving.

What the fuck is happening?!

And then I realized that Xander wasn't there! I tried to console myself into thinking that he has woke up early like usual. So, no matter how hard it was for me to get up, I did stood up and searched for him outside the tent. I turned on the flashlight of my phone and check for him as far as my eyes could reach. But, he was nowhere to be seen. My legs started trembling. I tripped outside the tent and I fell to the floor. That's when I felt something wet. I touched the wet substance as looked at my palm and I was startled to see that it was BLOOD.

I screamed out of terror and shock. I pinched myself to check if I was still dreaming. But, I was wide awake! It felt like I was going insane. Frustration and apprehension shrouded me. I grabbed the wine glasses and threw them which resulted into me getting injured. I yelled and punched the floor as I burst into tears.

It was not a dream

It was not a dream... It was real... He really died! XANDER... HE REALLY DIED!

I sobbed, "X-x-xa-xander... I-I-I'm so s-s-so-sorry."

I sat on the cold floor with my knees on my chest as I continued wailing, "You died because of me, Xan... If only I wo-would've r-r-re-returned to D-desmond that day, this w-wouldn't have h-happened."
