Lily POV:
Soon after Harry was born we were sitting at home with our gangs, the girls with me and the boys with James. "We don't have god parents. If something happens to us he needs to go somewhere, and it's sure no going to be to my devil sister." I said suddenly. I took James into the next room to decide who. "Sirius." he said immediately. "Well that works because I was going to say Ariadne." James looked doubtful. "What about her 'furry little problem'?" "Then Sirius can take him and we have a whole support group of friends." I explained. "Alright." He said. We walked into the room and told them our choices, and our reasons. That night I slept better in our bed, with my hand trailing into Harry's crib and resting on his sleeping body.
