James POV:
I was looking down at my little boy, baby prongs, as my friends called him and making colored bubbles and sparks come out of my wand. Harry laughed and poked the bubbles with his chubby baby fingers. I heard a blast downstairs and looked out the window, throwing aside my wand. "It's him Lily, he's here. I'll hold him off, you take harry and go!" "No! James stop!" She sobbed, but I ran downstairs. I yelled at Voldemort, to slow him down so Lily and Harry could go. As I saw the green light coming towards me, I thought, 'Peter you bastard.'

Lily POV:
I heard "Avada Kadavra" from downstairs and started sobbing harder. I knew I couldn't apperate, because of the Fidaleus Charm, so I ran into the nursery with Harry and barricaded the door. I put Harry in his crib, mumbling "Mummy loves you, Daddy loves you, we love you." I heard the door burst apart behind me and I turned around, putting my self between him and Voldemort, hoping love might save Harry. "Step aside, little girl." "No! Take me instead. Not harry! Take me!"
"Step aside you filthy little Mudblood. Avada Kedavera!" I saw the green then nothing else.

Harry's POV:
I saw mummy fall to the floor and a hooded figure walk towards me. I waited for daddy to take off the good and mummy to jump up laughing. I started to cry as she just lay there and a strange man took off the hood waving a pointy thing that daddy had at me and said some words. I felt a burning pain in my head then nothing else.

3rd Person POV:
James looked around the shining white place and looked startled when he saw Lily. He looked again for Harry and when he didn't see him breathed a sigh of relief. Lily hugged James with as much force as she had. "Lils...Choking.." he gasped out. "What happened?" He questioned when he got his breath back. "Love." She stated simply. They pulled together for a long heartfelt kiss. Mischief Managed.
