Chapter 15: Push Forward! Breach Through the Castle!

"Begone terrorists!"

Jellal, Erza, Gray and Lucy were being overwhelmed by the sudden attack of Exahelm's citizens. They were able to easily dodge or block any attack thrown at them, however they couldn't retaliate due to them agreeing not to hurt any of them. Jellal sidestepped out of the way when one of them shot a magic laser towards him.

"I guess these guys aren't used to fighting." Relieved Jellal. "Yeah but we still can't waste our time with these guys!" Gray whinged, creating an ice shield to block incoming attacks. The four mage's backs faced each other as Lucy wondered "Do you think Carla and the others made it?"

"I have confidence that they did." Erza smiled, blocking a spear from a soldier before kicking them back. "Although at this rate we ourselves may not be able to make it in time to assist them."

"Oh! I have an idea!" Lucy chipred. She pulled out a gold key which had a pink symbol on it. "Open, Gate of the Lam: Aries!" She summoned Aries who appeared and immediately looked very timid. "I'm here...I'm sorry..."

"She summoned another person?!"

"What kind of magic is that?!" Some townspeople exclaimed.

Lucy then pointed at the townspeople and said "Aries, stop them!" Aries then conjures a large pink fluffy wall before she exclaims "I'm sorry!" They get trapped in the soft material, struggling to get out. Lucy then pointed at the castle and said "Ok guys, let's go!"

However the townspeople got out of Aries' attack by flying in the air. "No good, they can easily fly out of it!" Jellal shouted. "Why didn't I think of that?!" Lucy wailed as she rubbed her head in frustration. "...I guess I'm not useful here then. I'm sorry!!!" Aries cried before she vanished, which Lucy shrieked immediately after.

"Tch, now what?! Do we just attack?!" Gray panicked. Erza glared at Gray with her signature intimidating look while exclaiming "No!"

Gray immediately shriveled up in response. "I know that we want to rescue Wendy as soon as possible, but remember that they're innocent." Erza explained. "T-then what do w-we do...?" Gray asked while still shaken up.

"...I have an idea." Jellal said.

"Hey Natsu! We're getting closer!" Happy beamed. Natsu cracked a smile before replying "Yeah! Let's keep pushing forward!"

"Blarus sir! They're about to reach the castle!" A soldier panicked as they saw Natsu fly up in the air about to pass above them. "Oh no they don't!" Balrus stormed before he shot up in the air quickly. He put his fist on top of his palm before yelling out "Stone Make: Tower!" He then conjured a small stone tower as it flew straight towards Natsu and Happy.

"Natsu! Look out!" Happy exclaimed. "Heh. No need to dodge, watch this!" Natsu smirked before he punched the stone tower, destroying it immediately.

"He's tough! How about this! Stone Make: Javelins!" Balrus then melded several stone javelins which went straight towards Natsu. "Happy!" Natsu shouted. "Aye sir!" Happy obliged as he started to barely dodge the attacks. Balrus then grunted in annoyance as he said "Stone Make: Hammer!" Which created a large stone hammer. He wielded it as he flew straight at Natsu.

"Natsu! Look out!" Happy alerts. Natsu quickly saw Balrus swing his hammer at him in which Natsu gripped it, blocking the attack. The impact of the attack caused the two to be pushed to the ground as Natsu started to crush the stone with his bare hands. Natsu then puffed his cheeks before shouting "Roar of the Fire Dragon!" In which he blew a blast of fire onto Balrus. He slid back a bit before his stone hammer crumbled. However the fire attack had little effect on him.
