Chapter 29: Exahelm Falls

"Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" Natsu charges at Izanagi, and engulfs himself in golden flames before slamming his head on the god's stomach.

"G-GRRH..GARK!" The impact of Natsu's attack was so hard it caused Izanagi to vomit saliva. Natsu lifts his head up and swings his fist to the side, striking the god's cheek and sending him flying.

The god rolls on the ground before reorienting himself. He slides on his feet before pushing his arm forward and unleashing a Boreus attack. However Natsu side steps and pushes his engulfed fist through the attack. He runs towards Izanagi dragging his attack with him.

Izanagi could not react as he was too stunned. Natsu uppercutted the god with both his flames and the god's attack. As he is in the air, Natsu grabs his leg and twists his body around and slams him on the ground, creating a big impact. Izanagi grunts in pain before grinding his teeth. He digs his claws in the ground.

He screams as he unleashes a giant hurricane above his body which pushes Natsu back. The fire dragon slayer covers his face, sliding back a bit. The wind calms down as Izanagi slowly pulls himself up. He wipes the blood from his lips and glares at Natsu with bloodshot eyes.

"What's going on...?" He seethed. "How did you get so powerful in such a short amount of time? We're both using Dragon Force and yet you're deflecting my attacks like their nothing!"

"Heh." Natsu smirked. "You really think you're able to master Wendy's magic in just a couple of hours? I don't care if you're a god, you're nowhere as strong as her."

"Grrrth..." Izanagi growls as he spreads his arms out and combines both sky slayer magic. "Don't you compare me, a sky god, to a brat like her! You're just using borrowed power!" He slams his palms together and unleashes a black and blue tornado.

"And you're acting like you're *not* using borrowed power?!" Natsu engulfs himself in flames completely and leaps over the attack. "Wendy worked hard for the power, and you stole it! Don't you dare try to claim it's your power when you don't even know how to use it properly!" The flames around Natsu's body gather into a large ball of flame as it moves at his hands as he raises them above his head.

"Ah shut it!" The god snapped as he puffed his cheeks, "Roar of the Sky Dragon!" and unleashed a blast of blue wind towards his opponent. The attack engulfs Natsu completely but his flames grow larger as he flies downward towards the god.

"Brilliant Flame of the Fire Dragon!" Natsu shouts as he slams the ball of flame on Izanagi and creates a fiery explosion. Izanagi, groaning in the burning pain, quickly flies out of the flames. Some of his feathers fell off in the process.

Natsu slowly pulls himself up as his hair shadow covers his eyes. He stares back at the god in an intimidating manner. Izanagi grits his teeth as he begins to heal his burn marks. As he heals himself he dusts himself off. Natsu slowly begins to walk towards him, clenching his fists.

"It doesn't matter how much power you've gained. I still have the perfect magic of offense and defense." Izanagi taunts, fully recovering his wounds and showing them off. However, Natsu shows no sign of stopping or worrying. The god squints his eyes suspiciously. "What is he planning...?" He thought.

Shortly after, he takes a deep breath and begins to suck in the air around him, taking advantage of Natsu not charging right at him. As he sucks in the air, he suddenly begins choking on something and coughs several times. Every cough he makes, some black dust comes out of his mouth. Natsu stops in his tracks and grins sinisterly.

"W-what's going *HACK* on?!" Izanagi exclaims. He then notices the smoke coming out of his mouth. His eyes widened as he figured out Natsu's strategy.
