Cindy sat in front of her father’s desk top, she was scrolling through her Facebook page in the dark room. Apparently she had nothing to do. She was  done with all her projects and assignments in fact the term was about to end. An idea popped up into her head and then she decided to search for something.

Her long pretty fingers inputted Seville Hills in the search space. She didn’t know why it kept coming back to her. Cindy became very adventurous ever since she was a little girl, she would wonder away into the woods following a butterfly and then her mother would come searching for her. When her mother died and her father married another woman, she would still wonder off for days. Nobody was really concerned because they knew she'd be alright.

Cindy clicked images and she just saw random pictures of hills. Nobody really knew what it looked like. In some pictures she saw a well at the very top. She sighed and cancelled it. Cindy thought about going to Edmonton town for the holiday. Her father won’t mind, she even thought about not coming back. The monitor reflected in her hazel  eyes.

The room was getting darker. Cindy’s eyes fell on the wooden table and then she noticed something was carved on the table. She used her fingers to feel the surface of the table. It was rough. She turned the computer to shed more light towards that side.

“ Seville Hill?”. She looked around the room. Seville hill, she thought.

Maria woke up early that Saturday and announced that they were going to visit Uncle Fredrick. Hailee was already excited because she loved going there. They were never out of chocolate and Mrs. Patricia would allow Hailee pick any amount she wanted.

“ And you are going with us young man” Maria said pointing at Jake who sat on the couch watching TV.

“ Do I have to? They don’t have children my age” he muttered.

Maria turned to comb Hailee’s golden hair. “ Yeah but I thought you and Uncle Fredrick had something going on”

" Going on?” he chuckled “ He is always tynna pick up a conversation with me. He is trying to relate but I don’t to relate with old people.”

He said and then wished he never said it.Maria stared at him for a moment and then continued with Hailee’s hair.
“ Enough, go have your bath. You are coming with us”

“ But mum—“

“ Not another word Jake”

After that, the whole family drove out and pulled up in front of Fredrick’s mansion. Immediately Hailee saw Mrs. Patricia who came out to welcome them, she opened the door and ran out. Wilton sighed “ oh boy!”

“ Me too, I don’t want to be here” Jake whispered.

Uncle Fredrick’s mansion was huge and white. It had so many antique, you would think it’s a museum. Fredrick had become fact and huge, his cheeks were big and they were starting to drop from his jaw. The man was already bald and he was just in his late 40s. Jake was surprised to see his uncle had added a lot of weight.

“ Uncle Fredrick “ he chortled” what the hell happened to you?”

“ Jake, my boy” he said resting his heavy hand on his shoulders . “ You know just a little food. Your aunt here has been taking good care of me”

“ I see, I see” Jake said trying to lift his arm away.

Its been years since they came to visit but the house still looked the same. The huge paintings on the left side of the wall. The flower vases, still the same position. They settled down on the long dining table to eat breakfast. The house was just too big for three people and some maids.
