Jake sat on his bed, staring at the card which he held. It was Mrs. Stella’s card, his grandmothers. Jake was busy contemplating whether he should call her. He finally made up his mind as he brought out his phone from the right side of his kangaroo pocket. Jake hesitated a little before he finally dialed the number. He called and waited.
“Its Stella, please who is this?” he heard her voice crack from the other end of the phone.
“Its Jake, your grandson”
“Jake” she dragged his name “ You finally called"
“Yeah, I had too”
“Is there something wrong?”
“Yes a lot of things are wrong” Jake said and walked to his window.
“ You can talk to me Jake, I promise to understand”
He sighed “ I’ve been seeing this girl…she has been haunting me”
“ A girl??”
“ Yes a girl” he confirmed “ she told me her name is Jill”
Suddenly there was silence. Jake heard nothing from her and soon she spoke out loud.
“ Actually, her name was Jill” and their conversation continued.

He rested on the desktop table, facing his friends. Jake smiled “ I’m so glad you all could make it”
“Go straight to the point” Dan muttered
" Any plans for the holidays?” Jake asked looking at Jimmy.
“ No, we aren’t traveling any more”
“ Dan? Nick?”
“ Nope”
“Nah”
“ Good, so I have plans for us” Jake said rubbing his palms together “ We are going for an adventure”
“ Are you kidding me?” Nick cocked a brow at him
“ I am very serious”
Jake looked behind him and carried a book, the same book he found in his grandfather’s house.
“I need your help guys” he said showing them the map. They came closer
“ A map?” asked Jimmy “ leading to where?”
“Edmonton town, dummy” Nick chuckled
“ Yes, correct…and we are going there” Jake said closing the book “ Somehow, this map or book is connected to my grandfather”
“ Not again “ Dan rolled his eyes.
“ No am serious. You have got to believe me guys…I don’t believe my grandad committed suicide”
“ This is the work of the police not some teenagers” said Jimmy.
“ Come on please, it’s going to be fun” he begged.
“ Well my parents won’t even agree to this”
" They wont know…we could just make up a lie”
“ My parents will be cool with it” said Dan “ but I won’t tell them exactly where we are going”
“ Mine wont” Nick said deeping his hands in his pocket
