...There Must Be Destruction.

"This is the right place isn't it?" Saji asked.
"Lord Sairaorg, you're here too?"
"Are you sure this is the place."

I dropped the reflective barriers on the Gaheris. The name I gave the ship that Zoeticus kindly lent me.
The people who were joining this team had no idea that they would be affiliated with the Black Knight's they only knew what we were doing and when.
I exited out the ramp, with Vali and Rias on my flanks.

"To all you who do not know who I am. I am The Red Right Hand of Zero. Leader of his secretive Special Operations team Samsara. That's what little you may know. But that's not who you will come to know me as." I clicked the back of my helmet starting the removal process of my mask.
"My name is Lincoln Vi Britannia. Fifth Prince of Britannia and 18th in line to the imperial throne of Britannia! My father is Charles Zi Britannia. My mother, Lady Marriane Gremory. Yes that is correct, I am of royal devil and human blood. Starting here and now all of you are now under my command. As leader of this operation I compel you all, do not resist my authority. Remember. You all chose this. For now your goals and the goals of the Black Knights are aligned, and as such I will treat every one of you as if you were one of my own soldiers. That is all. Rossweisse will show you to your bunks." I tossed my mask aside. Sure enough one of them detested my authority.
"I've heard of you. But, I won't let someone who has yet to prove themselves on a battlefield command me." Lord Sairaorg stepped forward.
"The Khaos Brigade and Britannia shall not be defeated by muscle and power alone.
It takes cunning, guile and the will..." I paused for a moment. Causing a few to seem uneasy.
"The will to do what?" Sairaorg asked.

"The will to destroy. And the will to be destroyed.
The willingness to sacrifice one's self for their goals. The will to change the world anew.
And that's what this is. Team DxD. Created to destroy those who threaten the very sovereignty and sanctity of humanity.
It's the very same reason we chose to adorn the mask. Because after all... faith is blindness. Strength is a tool, a means to an end. But will. Will is what we need. Will is everlasting, eternal. Final."
I walked up to him, face to face, no mask to cower behind. But sheer willingness fuelling me suppressed any fearful emotions.

"Hmph, you speak elegantly but if you want to take on the Khaos Brugade you'll need more than just fancy words." Lord Sairaorg let out a brief smile before taking his bag.

The hallway was dimly lit, unsurprising. This was a place of interrogation. Making it bright was needless energy consumption and made breaking enemies much harder. As long as there's light, there's hope.
I input the command override code into the keypad and it opened. Inside this room was the exact opposite of outside, per my request. There was a bed, a seat, a table and a bookshelf. Not exactly living the high life but stark contrast to what was outside.
Yet we had to take all necessary precautions. Chains to make sure the prisoner wouldn't take down anybody. And this prisoner would try. I wheeled the cart in. The prisoner was sleeping but as soon as the door opened they jolted up and tried to stand combat ready, however the chains prevented this action from taking place.
"You're Zero's right hand man aren't you? The leader of the fearless Samsara team. But all those soldiers were just under the influence of Geass weren't they." I said nothing as the prisoner scolded me. Geass was a curse. But even curses can be put to good use.
"And what's on that cart? You're going to try and torture me? Is that it? Hold me down while you..." She went speechlees as I unshackled her chains. Still not saying a word. Not mistaking this opportunity she leaped up to the cart and took off the white cloth covering the contents.
"What the?" She looked down at the two silver plates, both with food on it, two wine glasses and a bottle of red wine.
"What is the meaning of this?" She turned to face me. I motioned my hand for her to sit next to me.
Reluctantly, she agreed.
"Why are you doing this? Do you hope to win my heart?" She rushed through all the possible possibilities except for the most obvious.
"Do you not get it?" I finally spoke. My voice synthesiser masked my voice yes. But she knew it straight away. I took off my mask.
