...When You've Given Up.

"Aw we've got problems, incoming!" The Gaheris shook at the impact of the swarmer missiles.
"Issei can you gain their attention?"
"Uhh yeah but-." I interrupted Issei.
"Just do it!" I shouted.
"Rossweisse, Ravel! How's that perception filter coming along?" I asked over the comms.
"Idiot! Give us a minute!" Ravel shouted in response.
"Xenovia! Kiba! Grab fire from delta-four!" I ordered.
"What the hell does that mean?!" Kiba responded.
"Stab the Knightmares on your left! For gods sake!"
"Hey don't use the lords name on vain." Irina shouted from her computer.
"Fine, fine... shit. We don't kill them. But we can't be killed so I..."
"Rias, I'm willing to assume that you cannot in fact teleport a airship?"
"No it's too big. And this thing can't teleport either." Rias stated over comms.

Schneizel, you bastard turning our own army against us.

"Akeno, have you gotten anything from the Shinkirō?" I swivelled in my seat to the girl to my immediate right.
"Still nothing. But the Black Knights seem more focused on us than the Shinkirō." The raven haired princess of fallen angels said.
"Of course, realistically a major military asset has been taken out their hands they'll want it back. However they must know the danger of a Zero that opposes them. Only thing we can do now is get that filter up. Issei." I pondered.
"Yeah what is it?" He asked.
"These..." I transferred files over to a hard drive.
"Are the flight paths and usual tactics of black Knight air enabled Knightmares. Use it to your advantage." I took the hard drive and plugged it into my spare gauntlet, sending the data over to Issei scale mail visor.
"Right thanks."
"Koneko you just... do what you're doing." I turned around to the bored girl sitting on the desk licking an ice cream.
"Whatever." She rolled her eyes and continued.
"Computer. Call Orange."
"Your highness?" Jeremiah asked through the computer.
"Jeremiah, I've not got time to explain but the black knights know who me and Lelouch are. They've betrayed us." I informed lord Gottwald.

"Sir, are you okay? And what about your brother? Prince Lelouch. Is he alright?"

"I don't know. We got seperated. He's with Rolo in the Shinkirō. I'm in the Gaheris with rias and Issei. How's the search going?" I asked him. Jeremiah sighed.
"Princess Nunnally has yet to be located. But I promise you that I will find her."
"No, no stop. If you haven't found her yet then the Britannian forces most likely already have her." I told him.
"I-I understand sire. What's our next move?"
"Well apart from evading the black knights we're heading to Shikinejima. That's where the Great Britannia is. The Emperor... he's going to destroy humanity. He'll remove any trace of individuality. He's going to kill god, I can't let him. And I hope that you'll help me Lord Gottwald."
"Yes your majesty."

2100 hours. Thats what my watch read.
The sky had now turned a deep yellow blue mix. I sat on the outer bridge of the Gaheris. Starting out into the sky. The perception filter had been raised. Utilising demonic power and the raw psychic power of humanity. It created a telepathic effect which misdirected the senses around itself.
Think of it like the Mandela effect. You know pikachu doesn't have black at the end of his tail yet you constantly think he does. Well swap it around. You know he has black on his tail yet you don't see it. It disappears from people's minds.

The only way to get past a perception filter would be if you were particularly intelligent. Like say Schneizel. Or had an already high amount of psychic power. I wasn't worried. Schneizel wouldn't go out looking for us himself. He doesn't get his hands dirty. And the rest of the black knights aren't exactly the smartest.

"This Kind of Light Can Only Be Found! At The Worlds End!"
I took a sip of my drink and cranked the music up a bit.
"You got any more of those?" A familiar voice asked from behind. I turned around and saw Issei standing behind me.
"Yeah, here." I tossed him a bottle of beer from the crate I'd brought out. He took a seat next to me.
"Y'know I've never really drank these before. Really high in carbs, and it makes me feel bloated afterwards. It decreases my physical performance by roughly 2.85%.. Yet here I am drinking it."
I commented on my particular situation.
