...Is That Everyone's Human.

Kiba's POV
/|/|/|/|/

"Cao Cao. Your dedication is truly top notch." I chuckled.
"Naturally. People like you are the reason I fight. People who turn their backs on humanity. It's my job to destroy you but for now I'll abstain. I have use of you and your friends."  Cao Cao walked around the bright white room, examining my allies. He had captured us while our guards were down. I mentally slapped myself for this. It's my fault. I should've seen it coming. I scoffed.
"Don't kid yourself, we all know the only reason you fight is for the challenge challenge. Nothing is sacred to you." I coughed a spot of blood. While we were being taken I put up a fight, but their cunning prevailed over my strength.

"Let me remind you." He knelt down to myself who was on his knees.
"That you are nothing but devil filth. I could fight a god, you are nothing compared to me." He grabbed my hair and pushed my head around.
"Be that as it may you still won't win against Rias! Or Issei or Lincoln! They're coming for us and they'll destroy you." Irina shouted from her shackles, you may be wondering as to why we didn't just use our powers. But these shackles were made to contain Fenrir. They could contain an angel and a few devils
"They're completely at my mercy. They don't think logically, they just want their precious friends back." Cao Cao was arrogant and can easily lose his temper if things don't go his way. He reminds me of a certain someone.
But he's charismatic and strong too. No wonder so many people joined the Hero Faction. Irina was right in a way. He said they wouldn't think logically. While I can say that Issei would undoubtedly try to get us back without thinking I knew that Lincoln or even Lelouch would think and weigh the odds. That's if they cared to. It's hard to tell with them two.
If they do, then the man power we have and the brains, there's no way we could lose to the likes of him. But the doubt still lingered in my mind. He's been against Issei more than a few times now. He knows what they're likely to do. But Lelouch and Lincoln were new additions to the board, I believe it would put us at equal footing. But for now all we could do was wait until they arrived.
If they arrived.

Lincoln's POV

Taking the Gaheris on a 9,000 kilometre long trip was not a great idea. Teleportation could only get us so far. So, realising there was really only one option. I took the Doom Slayer with one other person. That's all the Frame could allow for. I took perhaps the most useful person in the team. Asia. But I never said that it would just be us. Issei was also coming. But he was slower so he would have to be reinforcements.
It was obvious to everyone this 'peace talk' was a farce. As such Rias, me and Lelouch devised a plan. If we could set up a link between Hodai island and Loch Ness we could get everybody we needed over to Scotland. The problem was that the link was only active for thirty seconds, and was easily destroyed. I'd have to be careful in my timing.
"Asia. Status report." I asked the petite blonde sitting in the seat below me.
"H-huh?" She was confused by what I meant.
"How are you feeling?" I asked once again in a less authoritative manner.
"Well... I'm nervous. What if they hurt them? And what if we can't save them." She looked up to me with teary eyes, glistening against the white walls of the Doom Slayer. I sighed.

"While I can't guarantee they won't have been hurt what I can tell you is this. Every day since We started this rebellion. I've thought a lot, about the people I care about. And when they'll be taken from me. And they were.
As a direct result of that I've come to the realisation that whatever happens, happens. That the world is cruel, and we won't find any rhyme or reason in it. No justice, no right or wrong. Only pitiless indifference. That time flows constantly, it doesn't care about the people in it.
So All we can realistically, logically do is hope, hope that at the end of the day. The people who you love are still there. I may not believe in a god even though I've met many but I do believe in hope. But hope by itself is nothing. You need will, only then can you protect the own solve. And once you do that. You hope."
