"So..." you trailed off, furrowing your brows as you looked at Yuka. "Kuon's spirit is residing in your brain?"
Sniper returned your question with a nod, causing you to let out a hum, a small hint of shock laced within the sound. According to what Yuka had just told you and Mayuko, seconds after Kuon's physical body died, she performed a life transfer over to him. Because of this, she was permanently stuck inside of his head. Or, at least, that's what it seemed like, with the information you knew.
"Wow," you spoke out, taking in the information. This realm was too complicated for you.
"And then she handed over her capability and qualification as a person who became close to God over to you," Mayuko added on to your statement, folding her arms and giving him a nonchalant look. "You're now an Angel as well as a person who comes close to God."
The group was silent for a moment, both you and Yuka waiting on her next words. She closed her eyes and let out a deep breath.
"I completely understand."
Yuka took a step back, seemingly shocked at her quick grasp of what had happened. "What? You understood that so quickly," he blabbered out. "I didn't know you were so..."
"I got used to that kind of thing," Mayuko responded, bringing a hand up to her head and scratching it out of annoyance. "Also... I don't think you fool around. Especially when it comes to people like Shinzaki or Y/N, whom you care about a lot."
She glanced back at you for a moment and you blushed, averting your gaze with a small smile. It was nice to know that others were observant of how you and Yuka acted around each other. He seemed to acknowledge her statement briefly with a short chuckle, but quickly moved on.
"You two understood it so well... it saved us time. Now you know about Kuon and the new enemy, Juo. So now, I'm going to talk about the plan that Rika and I made."
You leaned in slightly, giving him a small nod as to let him know that he had your undivided attention. He gave you a thankful one in return, beginning with the details of his plan.
"Rika and the White Feather are going to fight a battle against Juo."
You tilted your head a bit at the mention of the White Feather, but almost immediately slapped yourself internally after you realized who it was. The sniper that had worked under Aikawa must have been known as the White Feather, and now that Aikawa was dead, they were all working under you after he issued his final orders.
It was surprising to be honest, how your main enemy for so long came around on his deathbed. It was a shame that he hadn't come to that realization sooner, for if he had, his fate might have been flipped. But oh well, right? The Administrator seemed ruthless and cruel, and if there was one person that you didn't want to come into contact with, it was them. Especially after seeing how quickly they managed to take away all the power that Aikawa had worked so hard to gather.
"In the meantime..." Yuka's voice broke you out of your train of thought. "I'm going to get the God's Code."
God's Code, huh?
It was strange to think that Yuka was now a God Candidate, joining the ranks of people like Yuri and Yoshida. Would his abilities as a Mask aid him in his quest to try and get the God's Code? From what you were aware of, every God Candidate had stupidly enhanced abilities, but none had previously been a Mask like Yuka had. It was something to think about.
"I've been curious. Is the code something you can easily get?" Mayuko shot out, curiosity in her voice.
"Let me explain," Yuka responded, shifting his gaze over to the Railgun. You followed the trail, your E/C orbs carefully examining the structure.
