Chapter 8

A few months later, I woke to pain one night. Thinking it was just a kick, I lay on my side and waiting for the pain to subside. So I could go back to sleep. However, it wasn't going away. The pain was only getting worse. I put my hand on my stomach and gasp out as another wave of pain comes. I sat up in the process.

"Ah!!" The pain was getting worse. I screamed out. "S-Sans!" I started to breathe heavy. "SANS!" I screamed again. This time, I heard Sans teleport next to me. He sat on the side of my bed and helped calm me down.

"The... That baby.... Its coming! Ah!" I lean into Sans. By that time, Papyrus and Gaster had got to my room. Gaster already on the phone with whom I believe was Alphys.

"Alphys and Mettaton are on their way." Gaster said. "I'll call Dream and them."

"Good. Papyrus? Help me get    (Y/N) on her side. This will help her." Sans said and they got me on my right side. "Now (Y/N), straighten your lower leg. Hand me that pillow." Sans told Papy. "Now bend your upper knee and rest it on this." I did as told. "Better?" He asked. I nodded.

"This will also help with the delivery of the baby. It'll open your pelvis and encourage the baby to turn and move." Sans said. "Now just take deep breaths. Deeeeeeep breaths."

I took deep shakey breaths. I was calling down and the pain wasn't as bad. "Thank you... Nn! Sans.."

After hours of painful, agonizing labor, I had given birth to a beautiful baby girl. I was so happy and relieved to have her. She had a beautiful pale complexion and whatever hair she had was a pretty charcoal black. Her name, I named her Violet due to her eyes being a violet hue.

I caught Dream staring at her with a sad look.

"Dream? Are you alright?" I asked. He shook his head out of whatever daze he was in.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine. Its just... her eyes reminded me of my brother before he was corrupted." He said. I remember Dream telling me that Nightmare wasn't always the way he is now. "She has his eyes."

I look back down to my sleeping baby. She took after him quite a bit when she came out crying, she had these black streaks down her cheeks. But they disappeared once she was calm. She opened her eyes as she was crying and I noticed that her eyes changed from violet to blue. And she had cat-like pupils.

She was so beautiful and I could never be happier.

~~FIVE YEARS LATER~~

I was in the kitchen, fixing supper. Gaster came in.

"Mmmm.... (Y/N), that smells delicious " He said.

"Thank you. Its ready if you want to go get some. I have to go find Violet." I said, taking the apron off. Gaster nodded.

I walk through town. Violet is an adventurous child. She likes to go into the forest outside of town and explore. Usually, any mother wouldn't allow their child to go out alone but this was a safe AU. Everyone here is so nice.

However, when I neared where Violet usually plays, I felt a disturbance. Something was off and it concerned me greatly. I quickened my pace.

"Violet?!" I usually get an immediate answer back. However, I didn't this time. "Violet! Where are you?!" I yelled. She wasn't answering me, but then I heard her talking. I sighed in relief. Then... I heard two more voices. Voices that I recognized immediately and feared for Violet's life.
