Chapter 10

NOBODY'S POV

The positivity here makes me sick. He thought. Nightmare was standing on a cliff looking down at the cheery little town. Who were unaware of the destruction that is soon to come.

Though it's been five years, he can still remember how his precious (Y/N)'s emotions felt. He'd be able to pick her out of a crowd. However, he couldn't sense her anywhere.

He growled, turning to Horror and Dust. "I thought you said she was here?" He snarled. The two cowered away from their boss.

"We... we ain't bull shutting ya boss! She was here! We swear!" Horror said.

"Yeah! And she's the mother to that kid we told ya about. Violet." Dust said. "Sweet little girl, by the way." Nightmare still looked at them with a glare. However, he knew they weren't lying. They teleported into his study making such a ruckus. That only means she acted quickly and got Dream here.

Nightmare growled in annoyance. "That means she's no longer here. She always was so quick with everything."

"So what do you want us to do?" Killer asked. Nightmare was quiet as he thought. Then he had an idea. He turned to his right hand. His glitchy friend.

"Ink could have taken her to his realm. Along with this... child. Take Dust with you. Search around. Break a few things while you're at it. Surely rattle that Rainbow Bastard. Bring my queen back to me. Leave the kid. I don't care about the kid." Error and Dust nodded, disappearing though the glitchy portal.

"And what about the rest of us?" Killer asked. The corners of Nightmare's mouth tilted upward into a vile grin.

"Go have some fun." The others smiled and vanished. Nightmare turned his gaze back to the town. He'll wait for a bit before he joins in. Wait until there's negativity to feed off of.

YOUR POV

I lightly stroke Violet's hair as she sleeps in my lap. I start to Doze off myself. That is, until I heard the opening of a portal. Thinking it was the Stars, I turned to greet them. Only there wasn't anyone there. Then I heard something break. That startled Violet from her slumber.

She rubbed her eyes. "Mommy? What's going on?" She asked. I placed my finger to my lips, telling her to be quiet. I duck to the floor, out of immediate sight.

"DuSt! YoU iDiOt! LeT's NoT mAkE mUcH nOiSe UnTiL wE'rE sUrE wEiThEr ThEy'Re HeRe Or NoT." I heard a glitched voice yell.

"Oh no.. That was Error." I breathed. Violet looked at me confused. I brought my finger up to my lips again. "Kitchen." I say quietly. She turned and walked quickly yet quietly to the kitchen. I was right behind her.

There, I grabbed a big kitchen knife. Much to my misfortune, it made a noise as it came out of the block. I freeze and listen

"Did you hear that?" I heard a second voice say. I recognize it as Dust's. I could just see him smile. "That was a knife. Smart girl. Arming herself. You weren't kidding, (Y/N). You aren't that meek little maid we once knew. You finally grew a pair." He chuckled. "They're in the kitchen." I heard quick footsteps coming our way.

"Violet! Run!" I yell and she takes off. I was right behind her, gripping the knife. Violet reached the stairs and went up. I, unfortunately, got a sharpened bone in my leg, making me fall to the floor. "Ahh!" I scream.

"DuSt! YoU iDiOt! NiGhTmArE iS gOiNg To KiLl YoU!" Error said, coming around the corner.

"Hehe.. Whoops. Oh well." Dust said. I felt him grip my hair and pull my head up to where I looked him straight I his miscolored eyes. "Gotcha, (Y/N)."

"GrEaT. LeTs Go." Error said.

"Can't we bring Violet? She's fun to play games with." Dust said.

"No. YoU hEaRd WhAt NiGhTmArE sAiD. BrInG (Y/n). LeAvE tHe BrAt." Error said. Relief flushed over me. I didn't care what they did to me. As long as Violet stayed safe.

Dust sighed. "Alright." He said. Then, he lifted me up and slung me over his shoulder. "Let's go." He said. But before he could reach the portal, I felt him freeze. And I saw why.

"Let go of my mommy right now, mister Dusty!!" Violet yelled. She stood behind the two. She was upset. Her violet eyes were now bright blue like Nightmare's and had her appendages sharpened and pointed at Dust's back.

I then felt Dust relax and turn to face her. I then could see the look on Error's face. He blinked in surprise.

"Well, well, well. This is a surprise. Its pretty obvious who your daddy is, little Violet." Dust said. Then he turned to Error. "Now can we take the kid?"

"NiGhTmArE wIlL wAnT tO kNoW aBoUt ThIs." He said and caught Violet with his strings.

"W-what? Wait. No! Leave Violet out of this! Its me Nightmare wants. Leave Violet here!" I begged.

"Too late, (Y/N). She's already a part of this." I began to panic. Dust took me through and threw me onto a soft surface.

I recognized where I was instantly. I panicked more. "No....nonononono! Not here! Anywhere but here!" Dust had put me in HIS room. The same room I was trapped in for four months.

I looked around. I was the only one here. I started to worry more.

I didn't know how I was able to fall asleep, I was so panicked. I noticed that I was on the bed, but I failed to notice the person lying behind me. Until a hand came over my eyes. I jumped and fought. However, I was getting drowsy. Despite my efforts to fight it, my body slipped into a dreamless sleep.
