Death of a promise (Kyojuro and female reader)

Chapter I: demon's attack

Its has been two years since you're family died. You were now working at a store as a musician. You're gentle and beautiful voice filled the restaurant as you sang. People come to the shop often to listen to you're voice, when they listen to you're voice, their problems seems to fade for a moment

People adored you for you're kindness, as long as you're with them, their happy.

Time flew by and the sun went down. You packed you're things to go home. You were quite tired so you wanted to rest early, but something has been bugging you lately, it feels like something bad is going to happen. But you brushed the thought away as you opened the door to go home

You walked the lighted path towards you're home. The village is always lit up since many people has work at night too.

You glanced at you're right and saw Sky, Sky is you're cat whom you adopted. He must'v followed you towards you're job then got lost. You smiled then went over to her

"My my, what are you doing here Sky? Did you miss mommy that much??" You asked the cat as you held her in you're hands.

"Ahaha i'm 19 years old now and i'm still talking to a cat" you laughed then continued on walking with the cat on you're arms. She was the only friend you have at home since you're family died

She purred as you started to stroke her head. The night was quite until...

"KYAAAAAAAAA!!!!" a scream echoed through the village

More screams of terror was heard in the village. You looked back at the village and saw the people running around and panicking.

You were about to run just to be safe but then.

"Mommy!" A child was in the middle of the crowd crying. It was as if he was looking for someone.

As you saw him cry, you remembered you're little brother. You can't imagine him crying all alone, it broke you're heart

As if on instict you ran towards the child still carrying Sky in you're arms. You reached the child then hugged him. You looked up to see a demon devouring an old man. A tear fell from you're eye as you see him crying with pain. Blood splutered everywhere

You turned around to put the little boy to safety. You put him down as soon as you reached the citizens.

"Protect them for me" you said to an old man then ran back inside the village. You heard voices calling you to come back.

But you're mind was focused on saving the people left at the village. You ran and ran until you reached the restaurant you were working on, you're eyes widened at the sight.

There was fire, consuming every corner of the building. You ran inside as soon as you heard a scream for help

You helped the old lady to get out and then the 9year old girl. You escorted them towards the exit then went back inside to help other people. You rescued a total of 37, still wasn't enough.

You went back inside even though you had a wound on the thigh because of a collapsing house

You checked every building to see if everyone was evacuated. As soon as you confirmed it, you were about to evacuate too when someone suddenly punched you're back. You yelped in pain then went flying towards a building smashing you're back in the process

You graoned then tried to stand up but you stumbled back down again. Infront was an angry demon walking towards you

You looked for a weapon to defend yourself and then you saw a metal bat. You didn't really know where it came from but you held it up high to defend yourself.

"You know you can't kill me with just that, human girl" he snickered then walked more closely.

"Yes...i know..." you said then smiled ever so brightly

The demon raised his brow at you're answer 'whats wrong with this girl? Is she crazy?' He thought

"Whatever, im just gonna kill you" he said then dashed towards you

You held the metal bat then defended his attacks. He swung his sharp claws and you avoided it. He tried to kick you but his thigh met the cold metal instead.

You didn't really attack him, you just defended his attacks. He swung and swung his claws, some even aimed for you're head, but you avoided it.

There were some attacks that got through you're defence though. There was a claw mark on you're back, thigh, stomach and arm.

It hurts and it won't stop bleeding but what can you do? You can't stop defending right now or you will be dead by the next move

"Ahaha! you're a clever little girl aren't ya?!" The demon was enjoying making you suffer. He was smiling and laughing.

In fact he was so engulfed with you're fight that he didn't notice the rising sun. Once he did notice it he tried to run away. But you took hold of him then stranggled him with the matal bat.

He elbowed you're stomack which made you caugh up blood.

"Filthy human! Get away from me!" He struggled from you're grasp but succesfuly got away. But before be could run into the woods, he was met with the burning ray of the sunlight

"Graaahaaaaaahhhhh!!!!"

As he shouted in pain, his body started to fade away. Leaving you ther lying helplessly

"Y/n-nesaaaannn!!!" The little boy you saved earlier shouted, shaking you lightly

"My goodness Y/n! are you okay?!"
"Quick, get some medicines!"
"Hang on Y/n! You're going to be okay!"

You're vision was begining to fade and you're whole body ached. You still managed to smile at them to reassure them that you're fine

"What a sight this is!" Someone suddenly yelled

"Im sorry i was late and you had to endure all this! Let me take you to our headquarters so that you will have some more rest and quick recovery!" He said once more

You looked into the person's eyes. He was wearing a sword and has a firey  outfit. He had a wide smile on his face while his hand was reached out for you to hold
