Part 7

"Why are we here?", Haruto asked staring at a busy building in front of them, then staring back at Junkyu.
"Why do you think we're at a gaming arcade?"Junkyu asked.
"Are you okay? Exams' in two weeks"Haruto gave him an *are you serious look.
"I know that",the older rolled his eyes and pouted. Haruto frowned as Junkyu insisted. "This is like a stress relief therapy, okay?We all gonna go through hell for like 3 weeks. So.....just for tonight let's have fun!", Junkyu holded up his fist in a hwaiting gesture and fixed his sparkling eyes to Haruto's which nearly made him go blind.
"And also......", Junkyu folded his arms while curling his lips for a proud smile "I'll pay for everything", Junkyu was indeed very proud of his proposal.
"Of course its something like a thank you thing for last night and--"

"No",Haruto slit off his words with absolutely no remorse. But not like it was gonna affect Junkyu since he's so much used to it.

Junkyu grabbed his arm saying, "Then think of it as a date".
That was enough talking for Haruto to be dragged inside. (Isn't life so easy for junkyu?)

"Shoot! Shoot!", Junkyu shouted while his fingers busily slammed the keyboard as they sat at the pc section playing a shooting game.
"Hyungggg!! Get out of my way!!move!", Haruto yelled back.
Junkyu smirked knowing what he was exactly doing. He blocked all ways for Haruto to make a move, then teamed up with the other players to attack. Ruto, realizing what was happening gave up and let junkyu have his own way....... not like he could do anything else. He took off his headphones and turned to the older who smuggled upon seeing *VICTORY* popping up on the screen.

"Just you see",he mumbled causing junkyu to laugh and they proceeded playing the game.
The first hour passed and then the second and then the third. "Ruto, just give up", junkyu chewed on his corndog as he watched him struggling to win.

"Are we done now?", Junkyu stretched his back because boy, the two have been there for hours with no signs of Haruto giving up. Junkyu finally loosened up and made the younger have his way. Yes, he wants to continue the gaming but he's also worried about the exams....a little or was he sleepy? we don't know

"But you can't tolerate spicy food, hyung", Haruto watched as Junkyu slurped the hot rice cake's soup. "I'm fine-e", Junkyu continued with teary eyes while gasping for air. The two boys eat from the fast food stall outside the arcade and decides to end it for the day. As they walk back, Ruto finally relaxes his stiff muscles and smile without the knowledge of Junkyu..he was just grateful for the day because he kind of really needed whatever that was today and more because it was with his hyung. He mumbles a little thank you to Junkyu but our older doesn't hear him. "What?", he turns. "Nothing", the younger wasn't a fan of repeating so he walks ahead. (Our tsundere babie) "What???", Junkyu follows from behind.

The exam sets in and stress seemed to occupy every kid's soul including Junkyu's. Needless to say, he was struggling to figure out the syllabus and was shamelessly always discovering how he had no notes or copy of lessons taught like he was not playing video games the whole time, not even one concern about what would become of him. But like they say,every storm brings a rainbow...the exams were over and the boys could finally let their rib cages free.

'Bid me farewell cause my mom said she isn't planning to spend her hard earned money on me', Jeongwoo sighed. "Thank god she's smart unlike you",Ruto puts his pen down after analysing the last question from the math paper. Did he get any answer wrong? I doubt so. They were waiting for Junkyu and Douounf outside.
Jeongwoo shoves his middle finger in front of ruto's face but quickly puts it down as he hears a familiar voice that's lately making him tingle tingle
'Yooooo how was the wave lil bros?',Doyoung hops on putting one arm on jeongwoo's shoulder. Jeongwoo scratches his head,'Uhh not too great? I mean-'
'Do you need to even ask? I mean Ruto's surely placing first and Jeongwoo's last. End of discussion.!' There goes junkyu with his lame humour. A crow passed by, nobody was impressed.... Jeongwoo especially wasn't lol. 'Come on guys don't be so boring, gimme some reaction!'

'Anyways the field trip was the only thing keeping me hanging these whole time' Doyoung,Jeongwoo and Ruto walks away completely ignoring the Kim fucking Junkyu's existence.
'Let's sneak out at night. Jihoon and Yoshi planned great backup plans, we're never getting caught'
'That sounds fun! Sounds like I'll be trusting the hyung-nims',Jeongwoo laughs.
'Im guessing Ruto won't join but I swear it'd be fun...don't mis-'
'Don't worry hyungnim. Ruto will be joining us this time..for sure',Jeongwoo gives a bombastic side eye to Ruto with a smirk
'Aeee???',Doyoung and Junkyu who was paying half baked attention to the convo exclaimed.
'So apparently, our home room teacher called him to the office and told him that he'd be joining the group for the field trip and that he'd hear no excuses from him since he's missed all school activities and events'
Jeongwoo informed
'Really?! So does that mean we can finally enjoy something all together!?', Doyoung seemed to be a lil more excited than the others. 'Woahh looks like the world is healing', Jaehyuk expressed excitedly like a puppy waving its tail. (Yeah... you must be wondering but Jaesahi just appeared out of nowhere like they disappear out of nowhere)
'I mean as long as a certain someone doesn't ruin this' and they all turn their heads towards the man in question(including ruto)
'Why y'all looking at me like that?', Junkyu questioned with his signature pout. Our certified infp certainly had great plans to chill at home. But with 5 or probably more of his so-called 'friends like family' guys who were too determined to bring him to the trip, life did not look like it was going to be easy to dodge the impossible for our stay-in buddy

Firstly, thank you soooo much for 10k reads. Honestly,when I started writing 'It was always you' I was just trying out writing and I had no plot in my head so every update I made was just me going with the flow.
I had no idea what to write after part6 🙇🏻‍♂️🙇🏻‍♂️ so the thought of continuing the book slowly disappeared somehow
Just 2days back I somehow thought I should check out wattpad and was shocked to see people asking for updates lol
Part7 is a short update, I'll try my best to update the chapters as soon as I can for the ones waiting 🥹🥹
