More Than Friends?

At the same night

"What took you guys so long?" asked Emma.
"Oh! Nothing. Just some time passing." said Dan.
"Tell the truth mate." said Rupert.
"Okay." said Dan.
He then told the whole incident that happened inside the club. They were both surprised and shocked at the same time.
"Thankfully Dan was there. I couldn't even think what could be happened." said Bonnie.
"Don't worry. I will be always there for you." said Dan.
"Now let's go. Otherwise we will be late." said Emma.
After the conversation they all got into the car and left for the hotel.

After reached at the hotel everyone got freshen up and went to sleep. But Bonnie and Dan couldn't sleep. They were thinking about today's incident. Bonnie and Dan both were sitting in the balcony of their own rooms.
Only one thing was going on Bonnie's mind.
"What if she is my girlfriend? "

On the other hand Dan was thinking how easily he said that one line. He didn’t feel hesitant. In fact he felt good when he said that.

Bonnie's heart skipped a beat when she heard Dan saying that one line. She felt really nice when Dan called her his girlfriend. She didn’t feel shy at all.

Both of them cannot understand why are they feeling like this.
"Are we really just friends or more than friends? " both of them thought at the same time.
