Today's study session was at Luke's house on Friday. Usually I would've been at a party or fucking Sean. But having Luke teach me seemed so much more fun.

Math over booze?

What the fuck was happening to me? I should be getting drunk and having a good time.

I wore a black t-shirt with a blue flannel around my waist with black leggings and my black doc martin's. I threw my hair into a messy bun and already had my makeup done. I was running late for my study session with Luke.

I quickly grabbed all of the things I needed for the study session, before running out to my car. I had an old car but it got me where I needed to go. I had a blue, slightly rusted, 2002 Nissan Sentra. It was my baby.

I drove over to Luke's house and made my way up the paved walk way. His house was a colonial. The siding was a cream color and the windows had black shutters. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. I had my bag slung over one shoulder and my phone and keys in my other hand.

The door opened but it wasn't opened by Luke. It was opened by a tan guy with black hair. He had a few tattoos, nice jawline, and was tall, almost as tall as Luke.

"Are you looking for Luke?" He asked. I nodded. "Dude, she is hot." I felt the blood instantly rush to my cheeks. I didn't know how to react so I stayed silent. I wasn't used to being told I was hot but a somewhat attractive guy.

"Come in," he opened the door further. "Just wait on the couch. Luke's getting ready."

I sat on the couch and waited for Luke to come down. The living room had beige walls with lots of pictures, displayed proudly. I got up to look at them. I saw a picture in particular of Luke with two other guys and a dog.

"That's me, my brothers Ben and Jack and my dog, Molly." Luke said startling me.

"Oh, it's such a cute picture." I smiled at him.

"My mom likes to take a lot of pictures." He smiled. "Did you want to study or eat first?"

"Depends on what you're eating." I said.

"Cold pizza." He laughed, scratching the back of his neck.

"I could take you out to eat, if you'd like." Luke's friend suggested as he entered the living room.

"Shut up, Calum." He gave him a dirty look.

Calum? Doesn't ring a bell.

Luke brought me some pizza as we started our lesson. Calum sat and watched us when he wasn't looking at his phone. I wondered why he was staring at us.

We got pretty far before Calum spoke up. "You guys so like each other."

"Shut up, Calum. I'm just tutoring her in math." He commented.

Oh.

Why did I feel hurt? He was right, he was just tutoring me. Nothing else but math. Mathematics. Trigonometry. This was strictly tutoring.

We resumed the lesson before I decided that I should go. I packed up my stuff and began walking to the door.

"Hey, wait!" Luke called after me.

I turned around wondering what he wanted. He handed me my phone. "Your phone."

"Oh, thanks... I'll see you next Friday." I said, before turning around to open the door.

"Wait, can we study somewhere else? My house isn't the best place. When my parents are home, they would assume you were my girlfriend... And because Calum doesn't know where you live." He chuckled.
