Redemption

James

I take off tracking down James, which shouldn’t be hard since I sired him. On my way there I think of all the ways I will kill him. On the other hand I think of how long it has been since I last saw jasmine. I feel so horrible running off like that, she raised a child on her own.
I track down James back to London to an abandoned mansion. It was surrounded by a lot of his sired younglings but I kill off all of them without time to waste.  I enter the building and there he is, seated on a throne like a king with jasmine tied up next to him.
She looks more beautiful that the last time I saw her. Those hypnotic small eyes, those little pinkish lips. Her little angelic sweet voice. I can hear her heartbeat from here, damn it’s like love at first sight all over again.
“You see this man, he made all this possible. But he also took away my two brothers. Welcome sire, I awaited your arrival. And I promise this time you won’t come out alive.” Said James.
“Let her go James, she’s not part of this, this is between you and me” I said to him. But seems like he had other plans. He breaks jasmines leg and says “what should I break next”.
I’m enraged by his action. But before I could make a move I get bounded by enchanted chains, and dropped in a pool of holly water. It burns so much that my skin starts burning, I scream in pain. James then stands up and says “you took something from me, it’s only fair if I take something from you”. He then sinks his teeth into her neck, I hear her screams for help, she screams till she can’t any more.
“Tasty little thing, I wonder why you didn’t eat her soon.” He says as he throws her onto the floor. Seeing her lay there hurts me more than these chains, I can hear her heartbeat although it’s faint.
I reach my breaking point and lose all control. I leap out of the pool and break the chains. I start killing them one by one. I rip out their hearts with my bear hands. In no time I kill them all.
I go after James but he makes a run for it. I Leap in front of him and rip out his jaw. “Don’t think this is over, are you ready for more?” I say to him and add on “it’s time we finally settle the score.” I puncture his eyes and cut him in half, I slowly make my way to his heart. “Today you die you little brat.” I rip out his heart and he turns into dust.
I run as fast I as I could to try save jasmine. But the only way I know of is by turning her. But I’m too late she’s gone. As if that wasn’t enough the grim reaper shows up. “Hello old friend, I see you are at a bend. But I’m not here for you, I’m here for her, her soul is mine to take.” He says.
“So you can’t, she must live. I have a proposal. Take my soul in exchange for hers and free all the souls I damned, this includes all the people I turned.. If you do that I’ll gladly go to hell with you.” I say to him.
I”I accept your offer, I will attain your soul and forever you will suffer. In the depths of hell you shall meet a great evil, you will be personally tortured by the price of darkness, and yes I mean the devil.
He gave life back to jasmine. I held her hand and gave her a kiss. I have met none like you, your love ill forever miss. Take care of our little girl, if only I had more time. “It’s time to go mortal hell awaits.” Before he could finish his rhyme, down came a light so bright it burns.
“His soul is not yours reaper grim, he has committed an act of selflessness so I shall purge his sins.” Says the angel.
Go back to hell and tell your master this is the decree from the most high. As for you young mortal you have showed promise, so all your wrong I will omit. Arise Simeon, your life is now your own. Live it to the fullest but never forget, HE remembered you when all you had were regrets.
And just like that the angel vanished. I will be on my way, my job here is finished said the grim reaper.
