In pursuit of my revenge, I went back home in search of a way for me to walk in daylight. In the meantime my heart and mind where at constant war, fighting to decide if it's right for me to kill the ones I hold dear. My mind said yes but my heart could not agree. The war waged on for years on end.
Time has passed since my death, for a hundred years I have roamed this earth. In a failed attempt to be able to walk in daylight "to become day lighter". Let take you back. Back to the day my revenge went off track.
Ninety-five years ago, five years after the death of my outer ego. I paid a visit to my family with an objective of killing one of them. But as soon as I gazed upon them, all my murderous intentions went up in flames.
They welcomed me as though I was still a part of them, as though I did not hurt each one of them when I left and never went back. Its then my heart won the war. They still saw me as the sweet innocent young lad they all loved. They reminded me of the happiness I once had. But it was too late, I had already killed my cousin and proved that I'm the monster the devil wanted me to be.
I went with the desire to murder and exact my revenge but left with a broken heart that lasted for ages. Now broken down without any driving force, I fell into depression and killed with no remorse. I embraced the monster I had become, lived in the shadows in piles of rotting corpses. I live in the shadows even though I can now walk in day light.
So here I am, the most powerful and most feared creature in the world of man, half demon, half vampire and half werewolf. A creature full of pain and suffering.
All my family members are gone, taken by old age. If only I could turn back time, if only I could die but there is no coming back at this stage.
"Well now we are all caught up as to why I gave up on my revenge" I say to my dying victim, but wait, I hear footsteps. "Who would be stupid enough to walk into my den?" I ask myself. "Smells like a female, it's been a while since I've seen a girl" I say to myself. "The steps get closer and closer and closer"
She bumps into me and shouts "they are trying to kill me, help me please help!"
