♡Opposites Do Attract♡

Chapter 4

I crossed my arms and laid back a bit on the couch. After everything that had happened I'm not in the mood for whatever is about to happen.

"Okay well this is something I wasn't expecting this to happen so soon." Eugene said.

"You weren't expecting Salvatore to get slapped by a girl?"

I looked over to see a doll laughing. Everyone else except Eugene, Salvatore and the lady in black  wasn't laughing.

"Okay that's enough. Now before everyone starts fighting over who will be the one to kill this girl, im going to say this now she is not going to be killed." Eugene said.

"Why should she stay alive. She isn't from here and whi knows who she works for." The tall lady said.

"Yeah I totally work for someone." I said sarcastically.

The tall lady glared at me.

"Okay stop. I'm sure this girl is here for a reason. Now if you don't mind I would like to look at your wounds." Eugene said walking over to me.

I rolled my eyes and lifted up the side of my shirt a bit. Eugene's eyes widened.

"The cut and the blood on your shirt indicates that you have a wound but it's not there. Which makes me have to ask, what happened to you? You are covered in blood." Eugene said inspecting me.

"What happened to me does not matter." I said.

Eugene looked up at me with concern in his eyes.

"It does matter. You looked like you have been attacked by wild animal's. I also wonder where miss Kate Springer is, she should have been here but now." Eugene said.

I stood up and grabbed the collar of Eugene's shirt and lifted him up.

"What connections do you have to her?" I growled.

"Whoah hang on a second. Kate Springer is a doctor who comes to check on how everything is going here. She is a friend of mine." Eugene said.

"Then I should kill you too then." I hissed.

Eugene's eyes widened.

"What? Why? Why kill me because I'm friends with her?" Eugene asked.

"Oh I don't fucking know maybe it's because she planned my death! Come to find out my friend wasn't real and come to find out I've been infected with whatever the Cadou is since I was a baby! She tried to kill me because of it! I had no control of what happened to me! I never wanted this! So I killed her for her punishing me over something I had no control over!" I yelled.

I threw Eugene down to the ground as hard as I could. I was angry once again.  I dashed out of the house of the running to God knows where. I kept running unti I heard a voice begging me to stop. I looked behind me to see that doll that was sitting in the silent lady's lap.

"Why did you follow me?" I asked irritated.

"I didn't! When you ran out there was a lose string on your jacket that caught me! Now we are in the middle of nowhere!" The doll said.

"For a doll you are loud." I said annoyed.

"I have a name and it's Angie!" The doll said.

"Okay then Angie, why don't you go back to the silent lady." I said.

"The silent lady? Don't you mean Donna?" Angie said confused.

"Listen Angie, I've only just got here and I don't know anyones names besides Eugene's." I replied.

"Fair enough. And by the way I can't just go back. We are literally in the middle of the woods. So you are stuck with me for awhile." Angie said lifting up her arms.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I want you to pick me up so I don't get left behind." Angie said.

I rolled my eyes and picked Angie up. As much as I didn't want to go back I had too. Angie belonged to someone and I'm not going to ruin their day because I stormed out and took the doll by accident.

"So since we are going to be together for a bit let's get to know each other." Angie suggested.

"No thank you." I said.

"Aww why not?" Angie pouted.

"Because I don't want to talk about it." I said.

"Why not? Are you hiding something?" Angie asked.

"Last I knew my life isn't any of your business." I growled.

"Fine fine Miss defensive." Angie said crossing her arms.

Now that I got Angie to shut up I could now focus on where to go. I'm pretty sure I have been walking around in circles for the past 5 minutes.

"You know what fuck this." I said irritated.

I walked over to a tree and sat Down. I crossed my legs and sat Angie in my lap. I leaned my head back on the tree and close my eyes.

"Are you okay?" Angie asked.

"Do I look okay? No I don't." I said irritated.

"Sorry for asking." Angie said.

"I'm sorry." I said quietly.

"Huh?" Angie said confused.

"I said I'm sorry. So much has happened in one day and I'm taking it out on you and everything else. So I'm sorry." I said.

"It's okay. Everyone has a breaking point. But what happened exactly? I know what you told Eugene because you yelled at him but is there anything else?" Angie said.

"No not really." I said.

"I see then. Well once we get out of this forest you can go home to your family." Angie said.

"I don't have a family." I said.

"What do you mean?" Angie asked.

"My parents let me with Kate because of me being infected with the Cadou. They wanted nothing to do with me. Apparently I didn't show any signs of having abilities so she didn't kill me I'm guessing. I still only found out what I can do but I don't know what else I can do. Before I killed Kate she said my abilities will be all over the place and I won't be able to control it." I said.

"Oh um I wasn't expecting that." Angie said.

Angie hugged my arm and got into a more comfortable position. While I was listening to the wind blowing the tree branches around I also heard heartbeats.

"The hell? Am I hearing things now?" I said confused.

"What do you mean?" Angie asked.

"I can hear heartbeats near by." I said getting up and making sure I don't drop Angie.

I guess I'm going to find out if I'm hearing things or not. I decided to go in the direction of where the heartbeats were.
