Chapter 24

I let out a yawn and stretched. I didn't want to get out of bed but I needed to hunt down Eve. Donna turned over and wrapped an arm around me. I smiled at the fact that Donna was way too cute. Donna mumbled something in her sleep and her grip on me tightened.

Which made me wonder if she was having a bad dream. I decided to lay back down and wait for Donna to get up. Since Mary, Marvin, Shade, and Buttons are now gone, the house was quite. Angie woke up and she was visibly upset.

"Goodmorning Angie."

Angie sat up, crawled over Donna and sat in my lap. Angie swung her doll arms around me and hugged me, burying her head in my chest.

Yep she was definitely depressed about losing her best of friends.

"Angie, I know it's hard to lose people you care about. Believe me I know but I promise that Eve will answer for that day."

"They sacrificed themselves for you. I do miss them but what's done is done. Even though the others are in denial, you are the only one who can actually stop Eve." Angie said.

The others are in denial? I guess they wish for vengeance but from what I've gathered Eve would kill them in minutes or less. I do not wish the others harm so I guess I'll end up being the embodiment of vengeance.

Blood and vengeance.

Angie cuddled into me more before going back to sleep surpsingly. My heart sank, Donna and I as well as Angie have lost things very important to us. I laid my head on the headboard and stared at the ceiling. I truly do wonder where Eve is hiding.

It has to be where I've been before and near here. Ravens Point maybe? I don't know. A thought suddenly came to mind, instead of finding Eve right away I should spend time with the other lords. Its been a while since they have actually seen me I suppose and I need to reassure them that I can handle Eve.

I'm sure they are afraid of losing me again especially Donna. I carefully moved Donna's arm off of me and laid Angie under it instead. I swiftly and quietly went downstairs and dialed Alcina. I'm not sure how I knew her number but oh well.

While I was waiting I was playing with the phone cord.

"Hello? Donna why are you calling me the early in the morning." I suddenly heard Alcina say.

"I'm not Donna."

"Oh? I'm sorry Y/n." Alcina apologized.

"It's fine but I have something to ask of you. Think you can help me?"

"Depends on what it is dear." Alcina replied.

"I would like you to set up a party type event. I wish to spend some time with you, Donna, Sal, and Karl before I set off to find Eve."

I had my fingers crossed in hopes she would say yes.

"Hmmm." I heard through the phone.

Hearing that made me shut my eyes tightly.

"I don't see why not. Though Karl might not want to come." Alcina said.

I let out a sigh of relief.

"If he does decline tell him I would like him there."

"Alright then and what time did you wish for everyone to be here?" Alcina asked.

"Dinner."

"Got it. It will be done. I'll see you in a few hours." Alcina said.

"Thank you so much. Goodbye Alci!"

"Goodbye dear."

I hung up the phone and leaned onto a nearby wall. I was definitely smiling like an idiot. I went upstairs to wake Donna up because I would like to make breakfast with her and Angie.

I gently shook Donna.

"Hey sleep head, wake up."

No response.

"Darling wake up." I said shaking Donna more.

Still nothing.

I smirked.

"Alright, I guess you leave me no choice."

I took a deep breath and tickled Donna.

Donna started laughing to the point she snorted.

"Okay! Okay! I'm awake!" Donna cried out while laughing her ass off.

I stopped and smiled in victory. Donna sat up and grabbed me by my face gently and pulled me into a deep Kiss. We parted and Angie giggled.

"You two are such lovebirds."

"Angie be quiet." Donna said.

Angie giggled again a floated up.

"Oh by the way we need to be at Alcina's at dinner."

"Why?" Donna asked.

"Oh you will see, trust me. Anyway I would like your help with breakfast this morning M'lady."

Donna laughed and stood up.

"Alright I'll meet you downstairs." She said.

"Okey."

While Donna was getting dressed, I got out everything for breakfast. Donna finally came down after 10 minutes or so with Angie following behind her.

"So what are we making for breakfast?" Angie said tilting her head.

I turned around and leand on the counter.

"Well my lovely friend, we are going to make strawberry pancakes, eggs with bacon and cheese, and cinnamon rolls since I haven't had them in forever."

"Don't you think that's a bit too much food?" Donna asked.

"Do you know how much that doll eats?" I pointed to Angie.

"Hey! You-! Well, yeah you are right." Angie said.

Donna and I laughed while and pouted for a minute but then laughed with us. Donna got started on on the pancakes and I started the cinnamon rolls since they take the longest. Angie help me make the cinnamon rolls and I didn't let her put them in the oven only because I didn't want Angie to burn herself.

Angie cracked the eggs for me and whisked them as I was cooking the bacon. Donna occasionally put a few strawberries in my mouth while we were cooking. Everything got done around the same time which was perfect.

Angie help set the table and I helped Donna set the food on the table. We all sat down and ate and the only thing that didn't get devoured completely was the cinnamon rolls. I specifically saved some for the others to have and of course for Angie to snack on.

Now what to do to kill time?
