♡Opposites Do Attract♡

Chapter 11

The next morning I got up, got dressed and jumped out the window. I wasn't running away I just wanted to be in the flower garden. I love smelling flowers or anything sweet and that's why I love moon lilies and roses so much. While I was smelling flowers I heard a growl behind me so I turned around to see a deformed creature. It's skin was melted and the Cadou parasite had devoured a good bit of it's body.

The thing kept twitching like mad and it started crawling to me. Disgusted, I stood up and slowly backed away and unfortunately for me the creature ran at me. Surprised, I jumped back and jumped onto the roof. The creature was growling and clawing at the side of the building.

"What is going on out here?" Said a very angry Angie.

I looked down to see Donna and Angie walk out side and stop immediately once they saw the creature. The creatures attention was now on Donna and Angie and it ran at them. Panicked, I slit my wrist and used my blood as a lasso and lasso the creatures neck. I then reeled the line in choking the creature in the process. The creature was struggling and started lunging forward pulling me a bit but it did pull me down. I landed on my feet perfectly and I was now the creatures obsession. It lunged at me and I swiftly dodged and used the creatures blood against it. Blood spikes erupted from the creature causing it to let out a screech.

The creature then started to twitch and it exploded in blood that boiled away within a matter of seconds. I looked over at Angie and Donna and waved.

"The hell was that?" Angie asked.

"I don't know, I was just smelling the flowers and that thing come out from the fog." I explained.

"Hmm, nothing should have been able to find this place. How interesting." Angie said.

"Donna, I must admit you have a very nice flower garden. I could be out here forever if I wanted." I said smiling.

"Thank you." Donna said quietly.

"Anyway, since you are awake, what do you want for breakfast?" I asked.

"Pancakes and bacon please." Donna said quietly.

I smiled and lead Donna into the dinning room and I went to make breakfast. When I was done I set the food onto a plate and sat the ate in front of Donna and Angie. Donna moved her veil to the side a bit and started eating. Donna made a delightful sound while eating and I'm assuming she likes the food. A smile formed on my face.

"So what are the plans for today Donna?" I asked taking a seat next to Donna.

"Eugene wants everyone to meet up so we can talk about a concern that he and Heisenberg has." Angie answered.

"What time is the meeting?" I asked.

"Exactly in 1 hour." Angie said nonchalantly.

I nearly choked on my food.

"It takes 30 minutes to get to the meeting place so you guys might want to hurry up." Angie said.

Donna mumbled and inhaled her food and I did the same. Donna washed her hands while I cleaned up and we both made a bee line to the carriage. The ride there was quite and I was looking out the window watching the fog get lighter and lighter until it disappeared. The forest going by was a nice sight to see I suddenly felt something lean on me. I looked over to see Donna was leaning into me snoring gently. I wrapped my arm around Donna and held her close.

"Getting a bit touchy don't you think?" Angie commented.

"I'm sorry it's a natural reaction for me. I always wrapped my arm around my older sister when she fell asleep on me." I said.

"You have an older sister?" Angie asked.

"I did yes."

"What do you mean you did?" Angie asked.

"I don't like to talk about it let alone mention it. However, she was a test subject like I was and she died." I said sadly.

Angie didn't say anything else and I just looked out the window. The horses suddenly stopped and I realized that we were at the same house I woke up in when I first got here. I gently shook Donna awake. Donna groaned and her head turned to look up at me.

"We are here." I said with a blank face.

I helped Donna out of the carriage and we made our way into the house. Apparently Donna and I were the last ones to arrive but thankfully we arrived in time. I sat next to Donna and Eugene smiled at me.

"Alright now I'm not sure if you are all aware of not but there are creatures that are decomposed flesh that have the Cadou parasite in them walking around. They have attacked me and Heisenberg and I would like to know if anyone else had this happen." Eugene said.

"Oh it's happened to us." Angie said.

Everyone looked over at Angie and Donna.

"If it wasn't for y/n, it would have destroyed everything." Angie finished.

"What did y/n do?" Eugene asked.

"I don't know, all I know is that spikes of blood shot out of the creatures body and exploded in blood." Angie said.

"Is that true y/n?" Eugene asked.

"Yeah, sure." I said in a monotone voice.

"Are you okay?" Eugene asked.

"I'm fine. Ask again and I'll rip your dick off." I threatened.

Eugene scooted farther away from me and cleared his throat.

"Anyway, I need everyone to try to get any information on where those things are coming from. Last thing we need is to get over run and have to burn the whole village down." Eugene said.

"I think that's a bit over the top." I chimed in.

"You would ruin so may life's and families. I won't stand with you if you do that. Trust me, I'm not someone to fuck with."
