It was dark and cold. It almost felt like I was in water again. I hugged Angie tightly as I slowly woke up. I could hear voices which sounded like Eugene and the lords. Lady Dimitrescu and Heisenberg were arguing again. I'm not surprised in the slightest. Any meeting with the lords are like a family who has been on a long road trip and they can't stand each other anymore.
I felt Angie hug me as glass broke.
"Alcina! Karl! You just broke Donna's vase! Relax please!" Eugene said stressed.
"Maybe is Heisenberg would stop acting so childish, that wouldn't have happened!" Lady Dimitrescu yelled.
"Whatever! Stop provoking me all the damn time and stop suggesting stupid ideas!" Heisenberg yelled back.
"Shhh! Both of you shut up! Y/n is sleeping still!" Donna growled.
"I could care less of she is sleeping! You should have moved her into a room Donna!" Heisenberg shouted at Donna.
This was ridiculous. Time to intervene.
"What loud mouths you are." I said getting up while still holding Angie.
"Oh, I'm sorry they woke you up y/n." Eugene said.
"Don't worry about. Let the children fight."
"Excuse me!?" Lady Dimitrescu and Heisenberg said at the same time.
I looked over at them and smiled.
"Anyway, why is everyone here this time." I asked yawning.
"Donna called us here due to an intrusion. And Donna mentioned that you meet someone by the name of Eve." Eugene said.
"Oh yeah, Eve... Such a bizarre encounter I had with her. Once she saw me she seemed to have known a bit about me. She tried to convince me to join her after she smelled me and smelled Donna's scent. She wants to kill you four because you betrayed her mother. I don't know what she was talking about." I said rubbing Angie's head.
The lords all looked at each other concerned. Eugene cleared his throat.
"When the lords betrayed Miranda, I found her secret lab and one of the papers mentioned a subject named Eve. It seems like she wont stop until the lords are dead. Did she tell you what her plan was or what she is capable of doing?"
I shook my head no. Something did spark my curiosity though.
"Does she keep all of her papers of her test subjects in her lab?" I asked.
Eugene nodded.
"Can you take me there?"
Everyone looked at me confused.
"Why would you want to go there?" Angie asked looking up at me.
"I just want to explore and look around."
Eugene didn't ask or protest. Everyone went on with their day and Eugene took me to Miranda's lab. Donna tagged along as well for some reason. I was looking around searching for something specific. I've found information on the lords and Bernadette. Pitty she died. She didn't deserve it at all.
I found a small black box with a gold lock on it.
"Hey, Eugene? Do you have they key for this box?" I asked.
Eugene looked through a small bag full of keys and handed me a golden key. I thanked him as I opened the box. Once the box was open I saw what I was looking for.
"What did you find y/n?" Angie said flying over to me.
I turned around with papers in my hand. Donna and Eugene walked over to me.
"The reason why I wanted to come here was to see of I could find these papers. I'll read you what it says." I said leaning on a table.
"TEST SUBJECT: Y/n Carpiniello.
AGE: 1 when Cadou was implanted.
Subject is to be watched and monitored by Kate Springer until I say otherwise.
Subject did not die to the Cadou within 4 days as expected. Potential vessel.
Subject is now 8 years old and has shown some interesting abilities. Subject can manipulate her own blood and make creations. Subject can also manipulate others blood if desired. Subjects blood can burn anyone or thing it touches. Kate will give more information on the next meeting we have.
Kate has informed me that the Cadou is able to come out of the subjects body by force or through a wound. Subject impaled a worker out of fear. Definitely more powerful and has more potential than my children.
Subject is now 10 years of age and Kate has tampered with Y/n's memories and will have her live a monitored life. Allison was created to keep her company but will kill Y/n if needed.
Subject will be transferred from her place to me when she is 18 or older. Subject may be able to control anyone else infected with the Cadou. Further testing will be required."
I looked up and everyone had shocked looks.
"This is what I was wanting to find. But to find out that my memories have been tampered with bothers me."
"Y/n, I'm sorry for what's happened. Donna might be able to help you though. Given with what she can do she might be able to see what you don't remember through hallucinations." Eugene said.
Donna randomly hugged me.
"I can try, but I'm not making any promises. Let me know if you wish to try to regain what was lost."
I hugged Donna back, silently crying.
"Thank you, Donna."
