Chapter 19

I blinked a couple of times.

"Why do you keep calling me master?"

Buttons tilted his head.

"You've seen some memories have you not? Or have you not put it together?" Buttons said confused.

"I suppose your memories have been erased. But I know you are my master. You have the same aura as master. Oh I know! Let me share a memory with you!" Buttons said.

"Wait! What do you mean?"

"Let me show you a memory of me and you! Trust me!" Buttons said wrapping his arms around my torso.

I hugged Buttons and my mind went fuzzy. Once everything cleared, I saw a child playing with Buttons.

"Haha! Look Buttons look! I made a cat!" The girl said.

This was Y/n. She made a cat.

"I'm going to name you... Marvin!" Y/n said.

"Oh! Lovely! I can have a playmate now! So whenever you are busy I won't be so lonely!" Buttons said happily.

"Yeah! I love both of you!"

I love both of you?

I gasped.

"Do you see now? Go to Mary! She will show you a memory as well! Fair well master!" Buttons said going to the spot he has been and went lifeless.

Mary? The doll that's in the basement, where Donna is? I know she is upset with me but I need to know what's going on with me. I quickly went down into the basement and went to the room that Mary was in.

I picked up Mary and she jolted alive.

"Master!?" She asked excited.

Mary tilted her head in confusion.

"You look like master and you have the same aura as master but you are different in a way. Hmm... but you have to me master or else I wouldn't be alive right now!" Mary said.

"I'm sorry. Buttons said the same thing. I've been getting memories of Donna's niece and Buttons told me you would show me another one?"

"Oooh! I see what's happening now!" Mary shouted.

"What? Can you tell me?"

"Unfortunately no. It will cause problems. You will have to pice it together trough memories. Here, let me show you one." Mary said hugging me.

Again, everything went fuzzy.

"Karl I'm worried about Y/n."

"Annavel, everything will be fine." Karl said hugging this woman named Annavel.

"My sister will come for her once I finish Miranda off. She will mess with you all." Annavel said.

Karl kissed Annavel and Annavel returned the kiss. Then Annavel handed Karl a baby. Upon further inspection, the baby looked like me when I was a baby.

"This is our child Karl. I'm happy to have Y/n."

This is your original mother.

Everything went back to normal.

That was my original mother?

"Ooh! Donna and Angie are coming! You should probably leave. See you soon master!" Mary said before going lifeless.

I sat Mary down as Donna swung the door open. She didn't look happy.

"What are you doing? Who was talking!" Donna nearly shouted.

"I um, I was just looking at Mary?"

Donna growled.

"Why? WHY!? Why is life tormenting me so!? You look just like my niece! You even have the same name as her! And now you can't tell me who the hell you were talking to or just who was talking! I know it wasn't you!" Donna screamed.

I've never seen her this angry before. Donna suddenly slammed her fist into the wall scaring the hell out of me. I don't know why but I pushed her out of the way and ran to the elevator. As soon as I got to the main floor, I sprinted out of the house.

I was afraid of her for some reason. I ran all the way to the Reservoir where Salvatore was. As I wondered around I did find Salvatore.

"Oh, hey."

Salvatore turned around and just looked at me.

"Shouldn't you be with Donna?" Salvatore asked.

"Yeah, well I kinda ran away."

I explained to Salvatore what happened and he looked surprised.

"It isn't like Donna to get that angry. I guess she was better at hiding her regret and suffering." Salvatore said.

I let out a sigh and out of the corner of my eye I saw a cat, Marvin.

"Marvin..."

Salvatore looked over at me as I picked Marvin up.

"H-Hey! What are you doing?" Salvatore said panicked.

"Marvin..."

Marvin twitched and then yawned. Salvatore gasped in surprise.

"Master? Is that you?" Marvin asked.

"Wait, no? Yes? It is you but it's not at the same time. Have you been reborn perhaps?"

Reborn? Marvin suddenly hugged me causing me to see another memory.

"If you destroy that you will die with me!" A woman yelled.

"Then so be it. So long as Donna and everyone else is safe." Y/n said.

Rina?

Y/n slammed the orb onto the ground shattering it causing Y/n and Rina to die.

Then Donna was kneeling over Y/n's lifeless body crying.

"I need to get Shade. Marvin, lead me to him. I'm sure you know where he is."

"If you wish master." Marvin said.

I ran out of the Reservoir and Salvatore was yelling my name. I sprinted to to Castles Dimitrescu since Shade was there. Running through the village I ran into the back of Heisenberg.

"Oh, hello Karl." Marvin said.

Karl spun around with shock on his face.

"Marvin? How?" Karl said in disbelief.

Then he looked at me.

"What did you do to him? How did you bring him to life? He and the others were dormant as soon as my daughter died." Karl said.

"This is the master but she isn't at the same time Karl." Marvin said.

"I don't have time for this. I need to get to Shade. See you later Karl."

Karl attempted to grab me but failed.

"Hey! Get back here!" Karl shouted.

I ignored him and ran to the castle where Shade was.

I think I understand what has happened and why I am meant to be here.
