A part of me wanted to know him better.
I wanted to talk to him.
Just one conversation.
I guess the Universe heard my thoughts.
There he was.
The stranger with beautiful eyes was talking to me
and his eyes were glowing whenever the sunlight kept reflecting through them.
I almost melted.
Our conversation flowed,
His laughter made me smile.
I might have misjudged him.
He was just so easy to talk to.
I kind of lost myself in his eyes,
but I kept reminding myself that I could not afford another heart break.
I decided to keep my distance.
I wanted to protect my heart at all costs,
so I put walls around my heart.
I made sure not to fall for him,
no matter how good I felt around him.
I forgot that the Universe doesn't listen to words of negation.
Silly me.
